The burns are starting to hurt. The voice inside me has hurt me before, but I never felt it. It feels like it's digging into my skin.
I heard the door unlock from the outside. My mother. i stop and listen for another sound, but i don't hear anything. I hear nothing at all. I put my hands on my ears, they hurt. I turn around frantically. Then feel a pain in my stomach. Closing my eyes, i fall to the ground. When I look up, i see my mother looking down at me, with a phone in her hand, and saying words that I cannot hear.
Then the world goes black.
