I walked into Katie's room and sat on her bed, she was asleep in my arms and I was a bit tired as well. She held on to me as tightly as she could as I tried to put her on her bed. She opened her eyes and and they were filled with tears. I layed beside her trying to sooth her. Maleek sat at the edge of her bed and ran his hand down his face. The room was silent and it became ackword. After ten minutes of laying beside her she fell sound asleep. I got off the bed and head for the door. I stepped out of Katie's room and a hand held on to mine, I felt a tingle ran up and down my arm.

"We need to talk." Maleek said as he turned towards his office dragging me behind him. "What happened?" He asked.

"I-i don't know what you are t-talking about." I said stuttering.

"Don't play games with me Nevaeh. What happened down stairs?" He asked.

"I promised I would'nt say anything to you about it and I cannot break that promise." I said and I walked pass him heading towards the door.

"Stop Nevaeh! I'm not playing games. What the hell happened? Why were you so angry?" He asked in his alpha tone.

"Katelyn said Bailey told her to call her mommy and that she would be her new mommy soon." I said looking at him. He ran his hand through his hair and looked away from me. "What, you have nothing to say?" I asked.

"I told her not to tell you." He said under his breath.

"What? What did you just say?" I asked him.

"I'm sorry Nevaeh. I know all about it." He said as he turned to look at me.

"When did it happen?" I asked trying to calm my wolf down.

"Nev, it doesn't ma-"

"When the hell did it happen Maleek!" I asked getting angry.

"The day you and Sashree went for a run and you told me to check on her in the pack's play room." He said. My breathing started to get heavy and he saw what was happening. "I'm sorry baby. I told her not to tell you because I knew this was going to happen." He said trying to calm me down.

"How could you Maleek? How could you not tell me?" I asked in a loud tone.

"I knew you'd react this way Nevaeh." He said as he scratched the back of his neck.

"How do you expect me to behave? Another woman told my daughter to call her mommy and that she'll be her new mommy soon! You hid it from me and told her not to say anything to me about it! How exactly should I react toward this?" I asked getting angry. "Gosh, I thaught you said you worn't gonna keep secrets from me anymore." I screamed at him.

"I'm sorry Nevaeh I didn't want you to get angry." He said trying to get me calm.

"That's exactly how I am at this moment Maleek. Is there anything else you're hiding from?" I asked him.

"N-no Baby. There's nothing else." He replied as he scratched the back of his neck.

"There better not be or else." I said as I exit the room. I stormed into my room angry furious even. I slammed the door shut and screamed as loud as I could. My wolf needed to be free, i open the window jumped out and changed into my wolf in mid air. I ran as fast as I could into the middle of the woods, I stapped at an oak tree trying to catch my breath. I howled at the pain I was feeling in my chest, it hurt alot and I wanted to rip Bailey's head off her body. I layed on my belly closed my eyes and zoned out for a bit.

Maleek's POV

"Daddy! Look what grandma got me." Katelyn  said as she ran into my office holding a bracelet and my mother running behind her.

"Wow! It's beautiful sweetie." I said as I took a good look at it.

"Katelyn, your father is busy. Lets go get a snack in the kitchen." My mother said to her. I smiled her. "Ok grandma." She saod as she hugged me and exit the room with my mother.

I sat in my office going through a proposal the New Light pack made. Their alpha wanted me along with a couple other pack members to train their worriers. This was a new pack and they were locked experience, because they are new rogues can easily attack and take over their territory. I made a note to talk to my pack about their request. Half way through my paper work, my door bursed open and Sashree ran in.

"Sash, I thaught you went to th-"

"Come quick Maleek. It's Nevaeh, she's out of control." Sash said looking scared. She ran out the room and I followed behind.

I looked around and I saw my pack members gathered around her. I scanned the room searching to see if Katelyn was there. I knew how scarrd she gets when her mother or myself would get out of control. She was in Sashree's hand and she buried her face in her neck. I turned to Nevaeh and she was shaking with anger. I could see how angry she was and how much her wolf wanted to be free.

"Nevaeh. What's going on" I asked Maleek. I held her in my arms hoping that she would calm down once she felt my body against hers. I she felt a sense of ease and relaxed a bit in my arms, but I could sense Amber's determination. She needed to be set free and I fear that she's hurt someone. She was still upset and was out for blood. Nevaeh fought for control but Amber was determined that she would not give in. I connected my lips with her and she relaxed.

"What's going on?" I asked as she looked up and saw me. She scanned the room and she noticed it was full woth member of the pack. Fear and worry were in their eyes because they wanted to know why their future luna was so angry. She got up and walked over to where Sashree was. She called out to our daughter but she was scared she hid her face and held on tightly to Sash.

"I'm sorry baby." She called out to Katelyn. Katelyn turned and looked at her mother. Tears ran down her cheeks and Nevaeh let out a sob. She took her in her arms and she turned and head upstairs and I followed behind her.

Ok guys. I know this is a super short chapter and I know I promised a longer one but because i've been so busy and I haven't updated in a while I did this one as quickly as I could. Didn't want you guys to say that I forgot about this story..lol. Anyways I hope you guys had a great thanksgiving!
