 ------------------------------------

Today was a nice day because I met a pretty girl. She was kind too and she even helped me by handing me her towel this morning. It was really cold and even my body was shaking. I didn’t notice her at first but when she placed the towel around me, I looked up and saw her face. She was pretty. We were in the same class in all of our subjects and that was lucky for me. I wanted to know her better so I did a little research during lunch break. She came from Los Angeles and her previous school was Norington Academy. It’s a good public school though. I even discovered that she is a bully and she has a habit of cutting classes. But with all that, she had all straight A’s in all her subjects. She’s really smart and I also learned that she’s a scholar at our school. I’m actually the son of the owner of this school, that would be my dad and my mom is a fashion designer and is currently in Milan for a fashion show.  My dad’s in Malaysia right now having a business meeting with school administrators. He’s planning on building another branch of Wilson High there in Malaysia. Yeah, it makes perfect sense on the school’s name to be Wilson since my family owns it.

“Your bath is ready sir.”, said one of my maids. I was on my robe already so I immediately went to the bathroom. I dipped myself in the bath tub and a lot came into mind and mostly about her, Catherine. She even came to see me during lunch break. She said we were already and “officially” friends but why couldn’t I bring myself together to talk to her? I didn’t talk to her for the rest of the afternoon and I immediately went home. I think she got pissed off because I saw her banged her locker and she was talking to Stacy.

“What can I do to apologize? Should I give some flowers? Geez.. I don’t know how to deal with girls!” Actually, I never had a girlfriend before and I’m not that good people so I didn’t know how to deal with people, especially girls.

“Is there anything you need sir?”, my maid said.

“Yeah. Can I ask you something?

“What is it you ask of sir?”

“What should I do to apologize to a girl I made angry of?”

“Well, it’s good to say sorry sir. To apologize will make things better, especially if you don’t want to lose a friend.”

"Okay. Thanks.”. Yeah she’s got a point there but it’s not that easy since she’s a she and I’m a he. Maybe I should just give her a letter. Yeah, I’ll just apologize to her through a letter. After I took my bath and ate my dinner, I went to my bedroom and took a piece of paper and a pen. I started to write. I didn’t write it formally though. Just a friendly apologetic letter would do, I think.

“Dear Catherine,

I’m sorry about today. I’m sorry that I didn’t talk to you the whole afternoon. I just couldn’t bring myself to talk nor face you. If you got pissed off, I’m deeply sorry. I promise not to do it again. I’m writing this letter because I don’t want to lose my very first friend. Hope you understand how I feel right now. I know my hand writing is bad but I hope you can read my letter clearly. That’s all. I’m sorry. Can we be friends again?

I folded the paper in half and placed it in an envelope.
