"What are you doing?", Michael asked.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm building a sand castle.", I replied as I showed him my masterpiece.

"A sand castle? What are you? A five year old?", he asked.

"Anyone can build a sand castle.", I replied. He circled around the sand castle and stood beside me. I didn't mind his smirking since I was busy making my sand castle beautiful.

"It looks terrible to me.", he said.

"I'll pretend I didn't hear that.", I replied. He sat right beside me and started to help me shape my castle.

"Hey? What's with the help?", I asked.

"I want to win the prize.", he said.

"What prize?", I asked and he pointed at a signboard that says first prize is a free dinner at the waters tour boat for two.

"I don't remember signing up for anything.", I said.

"Well I did sign our names there as a pair.", Michael replied. He signed us up as a pair?! I mentally smiled and reality hit me when Michael was leaning towards me and our faces were only an inch apart. I stiffened and I got really concious that I looked away.

"Who said that I'm okay with that?", I asked.

"Oh come on Christine.", he begged.

"Only if you would do something out of the ordinary, then I will say okay.", I replied.

"Hey, look at me for a sec.", he said. I turned my head to face him. All of a sudden, I was in a state of shock and amazement when Michael leaned towards me and kissed me on my right cheek. He pulled away seconds later and I slowly placed my hand on top of my right cheek. What the hell just happened?!

Out of the ordinary, huh? Well, there's an out of the ordinary act I did. Well, I didn't just do that because of the dare but I honestly.was becoming a bit interested in this girl in front of me.

"W-w-w-what did you just d-d-do?!", she asked. Man, I just like to see her fluster. It's really cute.

"I did something out of the ordinary, just like you said.", I replied. She looked pissed off. Then she slapped me really hard on my cheek. I was really shocked.

"You think that kissing is some kind of joke?! Are you really that desperate to win some stupid competition? Well, count me out!", she yelled. She threw the bucket and shovel on to the ground and walked away. What the fuck just happened?!

"Where are you going?", my dad asked.

"I'll go for a walk.", I replied as I paced and passed by my mom and dad. I saw their wondering faces but I ignored it. I kept walking and I climbed up and arrived at some cliff overlooking the sea.

"Wow. I bet the sunset would be nice to look at from here.", I murmured. I sat down and felt the breeze as it hit me. Behind me were trees and it was grassy. I didn't even know that a place like this existed somewhere at a beach. I thought it was a sandy and hot. I closed my eyes and breathed in fresh air. Suddenly, the breeze stopped and Michael's face flashed in my head. I sighed and touched my cheek.
