 “I miss you”

“I miss you too, Hiro” Her voice sounded soft. Too soft. She stands in front of him wearing her uniform and almost translucent. Now she looks like a real ghost. Her eyes began to water. Her face as pale and her lips shook as she tried desperately to hold back the tears that threaten to fall.

“I’ve been watching you all this time. I was broken seeing you so depressed and lost but then things suddenly changed and you changed. For the better and I felt relieved.” She said.

He clenched his fist. Tears were rolling down his cheeks. He wanted to run to her and held her in his arms but he knew all he’s going feel is coldness.

“I’m sorry.” His voice quivered. “I’m sorry for everything, Miki. I can’t stand knowing I can no longer have you. I can’t stand knowing that I lost you. “

She can’t hold it in and let the tears flow down her cheeks.

“But we can’t do anything with it now…” His voice flooded with sadness.

Miki hovered near him. She was barely visible. He could see the graves and the sky through her. Her hands touched his face. It was cold but he felt warmth at the same time.

“You are a wonderful man. And I loved every second that I spent with you. If I could, I would love to stay, Hiro. But I can’t.”

She slowly hugged him with tears flowing down their eyes. She could feel the beating of his heart. Sadly, he can’t feel hers.

“I love you Hiro. I always will”

He closed his eyes feeling the warmth surrounding him. He can’t say a word. All he can do is feel the rush of wind. When he opened his eyes he was standing alone. There was no girl that was hugging him. There was only him.
