Quincy POV
"The baby is fine you just make sure you take your prenatal pills just to make sure" the doctor said as me and braylee sat in the hospital
"When do I bring her back to find out the gender of my baby" I asked
"Umm you can find out today if you want"he said
"You wanna find out today or wait" I asked her
"I wanna wait" she said
"OK you both have a wonderful day" the doctor said grabbing his things
"Alright thank you" I said helping braylee off of the hospital bed
I gave her her purse and we both made our way downstairs
"You hungry" I asked her
"Yeah" she said as I opened the car door for her helping her in and I ran back around getting in cranking up the car
"Alright I'll cook for you when we get home alright" I said
"Yeah" she said as I pulled off
The car was silent until I pulled into the garage
She opened the door gettug out and I got out also helping her
"I got it Quincy" she said
"I don't want yo-
She glared at me and I let her go
I unlocked the door and she walked in sitting down on the couch
I went into the kitchen and started cooking dinner
I made steak, mash potatoes , cornbread, and collard greens and brung her, her plate
"Thank you" she said poking out her lips
I pecked her lips and made my way into my office
I closed the door and sat down at my computer looking through the files of the people who kidnapped braylee
The doorbell rung through my ears and I ran into the living room looking though the peep hole and I didn't see anybody
"Who is it Quincy" braylee said walking up behind me
"I don't know I don't see anybody" I said
I looked through it once again and I saw a white car parked in my drive way
"Who the fuck is that" braylee said as she looked out the window
I looked out the other window and somebody I thought I would never see in my life again was standing on my porch
I opened the door and she smiled
"I missed you Quincy" she said her voice sending chills down my spine
