Payton's pov:

Today I'm turning 18. Dad and papa said that they would take me around the world.

Were all in Orlando, Florida because kota's got family here.

"Hey dad." I smile.

"When is everyone getting here? And who's all going to travel with us?" I ask.

"Well." He said scratching the back if his neck.

"What?" I ask confused.

"Lou! Come down here please." Dad yells.

Two minutes later papa comes down with tears in his eyes.

"Papa! What's that matter!" I run hugging him.

He squeezes me back. "Grandma Joannah passed away today. Turns out she was battling leukemia."

We stood there for about five minutes crying.

I pull away whipping my eyes. "Why wouldn't she tell us?"

"I don't know hun. I don't know."

"Come eat you two. I made your favorite."

"Hey pumpkin. Happy birthday!" He smiles hugging me.

I hug him back and mumble, "Thanks dad. I miss her so much dad." I feel my lip quiver and tears starting to flow down my cheeks.

"I know pumpkin. I know. We all do." He sighs motioning papa over.

We all stand in our family hug for a while.

There was a knock at the door.

"I got it." I mumble.

I walk to the door head down tears in my eyes, I whip them away and open the door.

"Hello?"

"Hey pay- wait what's the matter?" Uncle Harry says pulling me in his arms as I start sobbing.

"G-grandma Johannah p-passed away an hour ago." I sob into his shoulder.

"Oah baby." He says. You can hear a tone in Hus voice that says he's about to cry.

About an hour later everyone is here and crying our eyes out.

Dads breakfast is cold now but I feel bad cause he works so hard to help and please us.

I go over and hug him thanking him for everything.
