Nagisa's POV:

Wind, sunshine, assassination. That's all there is to this day in class 3-E. Well, there's also something else, but I can't quite name it at the moment... I'm sure it will come to me later, though. For now, Korosensei is teaching science at the front of the class, and in all honesty, I'm lost with the whole ordeal. My science partner, Karma, stands next to me, pretty much bored with the lesson. I wonder what makes this so easy for him?

"Yo, Nagisa-kun, you in there?" the redhead waves a hand in front of my face. I jerk my head up in surprise, I guess I must have spaced out.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm here," I say. "I'm just not that excited about this class..."

"Well, yeah, science was never your strong point," he replies with a smirk. Ugh, I hate it when he's so condescending like this. Just because science is my worst subject, it doesn't mean he has to be a jerk about it.

"Hey, no reason to get all pouty about this now, yeah?"

Blood makes a mad dash to my face. I turn away so he won't see. Why is it always like this when I'm with him? "I'm not pouting, I just don't like it when you tease me about my bad subjects."

"That's all that's bothering you? If it makes you feel any better, you can come over to my place after school to watch some Sonic Ninja."

"Uh, sure, I guess..." my heart flutters, just the tiniest bit. I'm sure it's just because of Sonic Ninja, but a small voice in the back of my head whispers otherwise.

He wants you to come over...

Karma's POV:

The rest of the school day passes by in a breeze of the mountain air. I doze off in the middle of math - as per usual, that class is always so boring. Who wants to stay awake for stuff they already learned? And after school, Nagisa is coming over...

To watch Sonic Ninja, of course. Why else would I be excited?

Anyways, the day finally ends, and the blue haired boy and I stroll down the mountain together.

"Today was a pretty lazy day, huh, Karma-kun?"

"Ah. It's always lazy, unless I'm involved," I snicker. I could hardly wait for the next chance to assassinate our teacher, and I'm always thinking up plans to kill. Right now, I'm thinking of rigging the teacher's room with something anti-korosensei.

"Heh, I don't think there's any doubt there," he laughs. Nagisa always looks so much better when he smiles, the corners of his mouth turn up in the gentlest way. His lips always look so soft, they always make me want to smile to. Ugh, what am I thinking?!

As we round a corner, my apartment building comes into view. It's certainly larger than most, and always well kept. "U-uh, we're here," I manage to say.
As we climb the stairs, I try to calm my beating heart, and I wonder if I'm really only excited for the movie. We enter the apartment, and I head over to the kitchen to get some chips.
"Hey, Nagisa-kun, do you want American chips or the regular kind?"
"Oh, uh, the regular kind?"
" 'Kay," I say. I stroll down to the home theater, chip bowl in hand, and pop the DVD into the player. Nagisa dims the lights, and the movie begins.

**********

No One's POV:
Nagisa is glad that the lights are practically off. Under the cover of darkness, his pale cheeks color a slight pink with the close proximity to Karma, and the atmosphere itself doesn't help. Hoping not to call any attention from said redhead, the slight boy locks his fingers in his lap and hopes that this warm feeling disappears soon.
At the end of the movie, Karma glances at the clock and smirks.
"Nagisa-kun, looks pretty late, wanna stay over?"
"S-sure. Mom won't mind, I guess," stutters the blue haired boy. "Tomorrow's a weekend, anyway."
He said yes!
The redhead's heart crawls up to his throat, and he finds it hard to breathe. "You can take my bed, if you want."
"Oh. Uh, thanks..." Nagisa quickly scampers to the bedroom, happy to get out of the awkward moment and so that Karma won't notice his red cheeks.
Ughhhh. Did I really just say that?!
Karma internally face palms. Flings himself on the couch. Why? Why is he acting so weird around that blue haired boy?
"Kyaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhhh!!!"
His head snaps up.
It's coming from the bedroom.
Jumping up, he practically sprints to the place. Flings open the door and -
"Sorry. Sorry. I just thought there was something-"
"You're alright," the devilish boy sighs, and runs his fingers through his hair.
"C-can you stay the night?" Asks a small voice.
Karma stops. Turns. Covers his mouth with his hand and becomes as red as his hair.
"Sure."
