Ceil's POV:

~Dream~

I was walking around in some type of clouded room. Soon though, I heard laughing. A bright light was shining and I couldn't control my body. I ran for the light. Soon I found myself in my own yard. I saw myself smiling and laughing happily.

I was with someone though. It was Lady Melissa. She was smiling and laughing too and she looked even more beautiful. Sebastian and Lily were watching us like parents. We all looked happy. The scene change. Now I was a grown man at a wedding. My wedding. I was marrying Melissa.

Soon the scene changed again. Now we have children of our own and we are watching them play in my yard. This dream....is this a vision of the future? A sign? No.....I can't live this life. I only live in the dark, no happiness for me. I live only for vengeance and to have my soul devoured. That's all I live for.

The older version of me laughed happily and kissed Melissa. I clenched my fist. "Stop it! What about your revenge? What happened to that!?" I yelled.

~End of Dream~

I bolted awake, sweating and panting. 'What the bloody hell was that?' "I hope that was just a dream." "What dream Master?" I jumped up and whipped my head to the left to see Sebastian sitting there, smiling at me. I glared.

"None of your business." He dismissed my rudeness and started to dress me. Once I was dressed I went down to the table to eat when I saw the paper. "Jack the Ripper Strikes Again!"

I started to grind my teeth in anger. How can this be? I thought the Viscount was Jack. I guess not. I was about to go to my study when the doors bursted open to revel Lady Melissa in a dark purple dress and her maid Lily in a dark blue maid outfit.

"Ceil! Did you see the paper? The minute I saw it I immediately got here." I blinked. "Well I guess you could just barge through the doors." She smirked. "Good. You think I was going to knock? Not likely."

I sighed. I escorted her to my study and Sebastian got us some of my favorite tea. We both sat down. "So what's are we going to do about it?"

She looked at me like I was stupid. "We go undercover of course! Tonight, we go check around the ally ways and such. Is that alright with you?"

I looked at her with surprise. She must really want to finish this case. I was going to say something back but something hit me. Why wouldn't she just make Lily investigate and she would sit back and watch?

What would she do if I couldn't go with her? Would she postpone her search for me? I smirked. "What if I can't go tonight?" Her beautiful purple eyes bored into what seemed to be my soul.

"Then I'll go alone." I froze. She would risk herself for this? This guy goes after pretty women. She pretty beautiful herself!

I almost banged my fist on the table. "I can go tonight. I wouldn't want my new partner going by herself."

A flash of surprise went across her face. But as soon as it came, it left. She stood up. "Alright then. Might I ask you something though?" She was dead serious so I nodded my head without any hesitation.

"Can I have my own room for a few months? I'm probably going to stay here for a long while." A tic mark made it's way on my head. "Why are you staying here?! Don't you have a manor of your own to take care of?!"

She smirked and shrugged. "Meh. My other maids and butlers got it. Thank you for taking me in Ceil." I gritted my teeth together. She just invited herself to stay. I sighed. "Sebastian, can you please show where Lady Melissa and Lily are staying?"
