When everything is falling apart
no one remembers to ask about your art.
When shambles leak through the crevasses in your fingers
no matter how tight you hold;
nothing patches up the parted.
And you'll stand alone.
Burdens become like bacteria you Inevitably carry.
When everything is falling apart
you're forced to stay happy;
to show your world for whatever reason
It will someday not be as crappy .
You take on the souls of your matching DNA
and constantly remind them what mom and dad forget to say.
When the world is being so incredibly mean
The age of your life is not seen
the age of your soul is what's keen.
When the world falls apart around you
please hold on to the good that surrounds you.
May just be a flower in the pot that has yet to die
keep it as a reminder that the ending is alright .
Replace it when it withers but never forget to remember,
Parallel universes are not as far as they seem.
And your battles are yours to surrender or defeat.
Love yourself for once
it's about damn time.
Remember the peace in your head before you were five?
You're gonna make it out just fine.
None of us make it out alive.
