Neko Natsu

As sneaky as a cat

It all began on a warm sunny day.

"Hey Lucy, let's take this job! It should be a piece of cake!" Natsu told the blond as he shoved the paper in her face.

Lucy grabbed the said paper to read herself. 

"Help wanted: Please help bring down thief who in total has robbed over 20 houses. Suspected to steal from the Cokesmiths house in Clover town next. Be a body guard for 20,000 jewels."

"Sure, sounds easy enough to me." 

Later on      Lucy's    P.O.V.

We are at the Cokesmiths house getting instructions on what to do. I'm pretty sure I was the only one listening cuz Natsu was staring of into space and happy who was on top of his head was I think sleeping.

When it came nightfall we got put into the room with the most valuable stuff. The room mostly contained pictures, vases, and jewelry. Natsu had his scarf around his face pretending to be a ninja while Happy just looked around. For some odd reason the room had a walk-in closet where we hid in with the door cracked open.

It soon became midnight and Happy was sleeping, Natsu was right by the door full of energy as always, and I was sitting semi-close to him trying my best not to fall asleep.

Finally, after about 30 minutes Natsu's sharp hearing heard a noise coming from the room. I stood up when Natsu broke down the door to hurry in the room when he could of just opened the door like a normal person.

The room was dark with only the  opened window at the end of the room to provide moon light to see. I honestly saw nothing and guessed it was just his weird imagination running wild. I was about to go back into the room when I guess Natsu saw something by the window and jumped on it.

Whatever it was landed with a thud and groaned in pain. I turned on the lights to see that indeed, Natsu was pinning down a person that had a bag in their hand.

They quickly got out of Natsu's grasp and was about to jump out of the window when Natsu grabbed him by under the arms and was struggling to hold onto him.

When I got a good look at him I saw a thin (but not to thin) teen who looked like he was around the age of 17-19 years. He wore all black but dark blue pants. He had spiky blackish blue hair (kinda like Grays hair) with dark blue eyes and ........ black cat ears and a tail?

He started squirming trying to get out of Natsu's hold like how cats would when they were being forced to take a bath.

They both fell on the ground rolling around until the teen got lose and backed into the back of the room.

"Just give up would ya. We have you surround." I said with my hand on my hip. He hissed at us before reaching into his bag to get something. (BTW Happys up and was standing next to me and Natsu.) 

He pulled out a green potion that had what looks like a cats eye on the front and threw it at us.

Before the bottle broke, Natsu pushed me and Happy out of range before a green smoke surrounded him. I saw the teens shadow go threw the smoke and out the window before everything cleared. 

When I could see clearly I looked over to where Natsu was and gasped at what I saw next.

Natsu slowly got up from the ground (yes he was on the ground) and groaned while rubbing his head. Natsu now had two dark pink cat ears and a pink tail with some white at the end.

"Hey Luce and Happy, you ok?" He asked when he spotted us.

"The real question is are you ok?" I asked

"Yea, why?" I pointed to his head and behind to look.

When Natsu saw he looked excited. "Yay! I have a cool looking tail and ears now!"   "Natsu, that's not something you should be celebrating about. We need to find you a cure." I said while walking towards him with Happy close behind.

"But Luc-" he got cut off as he suddenly fainted and fell to the ground. I managed to slid under him so his head didn't hit the ground. Of course he had to land on my breasts! 

"Uh Happy a little help here!" I called to the blue exceed who was just standing there watching.

We moved him up so I could sit up and placed his head on my lap. Happy and I both agreed to take him to my apartment and then call for help in the morning.

Time skip to morning 

So basically I had to tell our client that we failed while holding a knocked out Natsu on my back and of course we didn't get paid 😓.

We were now at my apartment where I was sitting on my bed with Natsu on my lap and Happy to my right while I talked to levy on the phone asking her if she and some people from the guild could help look for a cure. Happy wanted to help search for a cure with Levy and the rest but didn't know if he should leave Natsu so I reassured him that I would take care of him and off he went.

After Happy left I started petting Natsu's head cuz what ealse was I supposed to do. What startled me was the fact that after a few minutes, Natsu started Purring.....
