Chapter sixteen

Me: hellooo and welcome back to-

Lucy: why?
Me: TWO REASONS! PIRATE PRINCESS HAS OVER 3K VIEWS! AND THIS ONE HAS OVER FIVE HUNDRED!

I let out a small gasp. It...it couldn't be...could it? I turn around slowly.
"Hi Luce!" Natsu says. I fling myself at him and hug his neck tightly. He hugs back and I cry into his neck. He gently rubs my back.
"Awwww. Don't I get a hug?" Meldoy's voice ask. I open my eyes and see Melody pouting.
"MELODY!" I yell and pull her into the hug.
"EVERYONE!" Melody yells. I look behind her and see....everyone.

"But...how?" I ask as I reluctantly pull away. Melody glares at Natsu who looks away.
"You didn't tell her, did you?" Melody asks.
"I DID.............not." Natsu says.
"BAKA!" Melody yells as she chases Natsu, newspaper in hand.
"What didn't he tell me?" I ask.
"He didn't tell you the full plan." Erza says.
"The reason we needed these armours was because they were effectively 'Zayn proof'." Gray says.
"We were going to trick Zayn into thinking that we had all died." Levy says.
"But Natsu here forgot to tell you, scaring you to death." Jellal says.
"AAH! I'M SORRY!" Natsu screams as Melody hits him. She stops hitting him.
"I'm satisfied now." She says and we laugh.

The moment we got back to the ship, I instantly hugged Nashi and Plue. Plue licked my face lovingly.
"NATSUUUUUUU!" Happy yells as he hugs Natsu. Natsu hugs Happy back and hugs me while I hug Nashi and Plue. Melody hugged Lucas and her many wolves and children. She ended up on the floor with them on top of her. Gajeel hugged Levy and his kids. His arms surrounding them. Juvia hugged Gray and Storm. Erza hugged her daughter and Jellal hugged her from the other side. It was good to be back.

I lay on my bed. Natsu was sound asleep next to me. Plue at the foot of the bed. Nashi in her crib beside the bed. I snuggle closer to Natsu. I reach out and touch his face. Still uncertain that he's alive. I lay my head on his chest and listen to his heartbeat. He must be awake because he puts an arm around my waist. I blush as a result.
"It's ok Luce, I won't die on you." He says, guessing what I was thinking.
"I know, but I was so scared...." I say.
"You don't have to be, I'll always keep you safe." He says, making my heart flutter. "What was that you used to defeat Zayn?"
"I don't really know, I was...I guess...blinded by my rage?" I say. Natsu kisses my head.
"Go to sleep Luce. I promise I'll be here when you wake up." He says and I close my eyes.

Three days later I'm walking through the ship in search of something to do. I find Melody leaning over a desk.
"What you doing Melody?" I ask her. I lean over her shoulder and see a page filled with words.
"Making a record of what happened." She says and writes something down. "And the new additions!"
"MELODY! DRAGON AND PHOENIX!" Lucas yells from somewhere. Melody sighs and looks at me.
"Old habits die hard I guess..." She says and walks off. I smile. 

"WE'RE HOME! Erza's voice echoes through the ship. We all excitedly get on to the deck. Natsu has Nashi on his back. Erza is carrying Rosemary. Gajeel is shoulder carrying all of his children and Levy's giggling at him. Juvia is arguing with Gray on who carries Storm. Three of Melody's kids are being carried by her tail. The other three by Lucas. I run to the bow and look over the edge with Plue. I see the island. It looks like everyone repaired it while we were away.
"I remember when we first brought you here." Natsu says behind me. He moves next to me and I lean my head on his shoulder.
"It seems like yesterday we only just met." I say. He nods his head.
