***Amy's P.O.V***
As soon as I opened my eyes the next morning I knew I was wide awake. I peaked at the clock on my wall and it read 6am. I was asleep for 10 hours!
I decided to pass the time by checking my Facebook. It was mostly soppy messages from my friends about how much they missed me.
An hour later after watching an online episode of "Pretty Little Liars" I finally decided to put my laptop down.
I wanted to look my best for the day so I went to try out my new bathroom and took a long shower.
I picked out my dark, high-waisted ripped jeans, loose black crop top, shiny black high-tops along with my gold chain and matching bracelet.
All I had left to do was my hair and make up. I curled my long, dark hair and started my usual make-up routine.
One weird thing about me is that I'm very high maintenance when it comes to my appearance. For my make-up I always do countering and highlighting, smokey eyes and big lashes and I ALWAYS fill in my eyebrows! (Along with the basic make-up)
A box of make-up later and I stood infront of my mirror admiring myself. I'm not being vain but a girl has to have confidence in herself!
And with that I left the house at 11 o clock on the dot. The street was unusually deserted, aren't American people supposed to be out jogging or am I being stereotypical?.
Ironically I just spotted a boy around my age across the street playing what Americans call football with a boy that could possibly be his brother.
I was used to boys and loved the idea of having an American male friend but decided to hold the thought, I have plenty of time to make friends.
***Zacs P.O.V***
My mom told me there was a new family moving in across the street. There was only a father and daughter but we counted them as a family.
On the plus side the daughter was my age, it would nice to have a friend live near me. Everyone around here is either retired or just starting a family.
So Nic and I decided to go outside and kick around the football.
And that's when I saw her. She walked straight out of her house, glanced at us and kept walking.
One thing was for sure she was GORGEOUS!
"Back in a minute Nic" I said and didn't wait around for a reply.
I started desperately searching for something in my pocket. I found a paperclip. It would have to do.
"Hey, I think you dropped this" I said catching up with while I held up the paperclip.
"Um, that's not mine" she replied. She had the most cutest Irish accent ever. It only made me like her even more.
"I know, I just wanted an excuse to talk to you" I admitted.
"My names Amy"
"I'm Zac" I said shaking her hand. I was shocked when I felt something as I was shaking her hand. I couldn't like her that much, I've only just met her.I noticed I was shaking her hand unually long and dropped it quickly, embarrassed.
"Is that your brother?" she asked indicating to Nic.
"Yah that's Nic" I said "We were just playing some football"
"We have a sport like that in Ireland but we call it rugby"
"What, ruby?"
"No, rug-bee" she said pronouncing every syllable.
I tried again but failed miserably. It made her laugh so I didn't mind.
"I love your accent" she said amidst the giggles.
"How about I show you around later and you can make me say all sorts of things that make you laugh?"
"Might aswell sure" she said shrugging her shoulders.
We swapped numbers and arranged to meet up later.
I couldn't stop smiling as I walked back home, even Nic's weird glares couldn't ruin my mood!
I hope ye liked this chapter! I'll try to update every day if I can,
Thanks for reading!
