I was staring down at my phone, messing around with the new update on Pokemon GO.

I accidentally walked into a thin, black lamp post.

"OW" I screamed out in pain.

I fell to the ground beside the lamp post with my right hand against my forehead.

I dropped my phone on the cement and felt tears come to my eyes.

A man with jet black hair, who was dressed in all black, rushed over to me.

He bent down quickly to me.

"Are you okay?" he quietly asked.

All I could do at the moment was cry so I just shook my head.

He could see how much pain I was in from my facial expressions.

He grabbed me by the arm tightly and lifted me off of the ground.

Even though he was a stranger he was the only comfort I had so I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly.

He smiled at me.

I bent down quickly and picked up my phone.

I stared up at him.

"Thank you for helping me, what's your name?" I asked him.

"Gerard" he answered.

"That's a nice name, I'm Kitty" I spoke at a normal pace.

He grinned slightly at me.

"Nice meeting you" I called as I walked away.

He waved at me as we headed our separate ways.
