As I emerge from the darkness, I am greeted with open arms. The trail behind me condemned me, but now I am free. This warmth, this realization that for once, things are going to be better, sets my mind at ease. I take a breath and the tainted air is purged from my lungs. The dust that has been settled on my unmotivated body is blown completely away. Feeling victorious, I traverse through the pitch once more on my way forward, on my path, to explain life. I have experience to let me know what lies ahead, but I accept that it will be that way, and through that acceptance I gain a light, a light, in the dark.
