It had been over four years since little Daisy Gilliam had died from scarlet fever. And her mom, Meredeth Gilliam, had thought she saw her, even though she was dead. "She said she saw her running around her old room." Mary Hensworth told the police. "I thought she was dreaming, I never thought..." She was interrupted by a loud crash. It came from in the house. The police ran into the house to investigate, but they couldn't find anything. One officer went into the little girls old room, with it looking trashed from the incident. He slowly opened the closet door, and screamed. There was the missing heart of the little girl all those years ago. Sitting there, in a jar. Dead, frozen, motionless. It was just sitting there. Three other officers ran in to investigate, but with a look of horror on their faces, realized what he screamed at. Then, all four of them were snatched into the cold heart, somehow, and was never to be seen again. After they concluded the investigation, they put up missing signs for the four officers that had disappeared. Mary was gathering some things from Merediths house, when the phone rang. Mary wondered who it was, so she answered it. As soon as Mary heard her voice, a shiver went down her spine. "No, it can't be her. Why would she call Meredith?" Mary thought to herself.
