Chapter 4: It's all in the chase

Harry's POV: (your welcome)

It's been about 20 minutes since Alex had left to go to the "bathroom", and I'm starting to get a weird feeling I haven't felt in a long time. Fear, no, what would I have to be scared about? Anxioty, no, what would I be so anxious about? Care or maybe even... LOVE!? I haven't felt that since... nevermind that. No Harry stop, Alex is just another girl, not someone to act so crazy about.

Anyways, just as I was pushing the thought right out of my head, the girl behind me let out a straight fearful gasp. I would have just ignore the sound and wait for Alex to come back if it wasn't for that same dang girl behind me start panicking under her breath. I started feeling my blood getting hotter by the second. Just as I had turned my head around to say something to this annoying thing. I noticed she was in tears just balling her eyes out.

"Hey, what's the matter with you?" I asked not really caring for an answer. In all honesty, all I really wanted was for her to shut up, but of course she was so "emotional", she responded "It-It's Alex, sh-she's in tr-trouble." she stuttered whispering through her tears. I didn't need to hear any more, just knowing that something was wrong with Alex, made me want to punch somthing. I immediately shot up out of my seat and stormed straight to the door. "Mr. Styles, and where exactly do you think you're going?" I was stopped by that stupid, fat BLOKE of a teacher, "Mr. Chester", who stood right in front of the door to block my way out. I simply shrugged in annoyance and said "to the bathroom. Why do you care?" His eyes immediately got big, as if he  was trying to intimidate me or something. I didn't have time to play wimp though, the more time I wasted being here dealing with Mr. Chester, is another chance for Alex to get even more hurt by whoever is doing whatever to her. And just the thought of something happening to her just enfurriated me even more than before.

I pushed the man out of my way and stromed straight through the doors and out of the classroom. I had to get to Alex before it was to late.

Alex's POV:

As soon as I had gotten up to go to the bathroom, I walked as fast as  I could to enter the room that said "girls bathroom". I was walking fast, because I then heard another pair of footsteps right behind me, and everytime I sped up my pace, so did the person's behind me. Before me knew it, I was being chased by a stranger in the hall. I was way to scared though to even turn around and see who it was that was chasing me.

Once I made inside the bathroom, I ran to one of the biggest stalls there was and started texting the only person I knew would respond... Mac. I texted her saying...

TO: Mac

OMG HELP I'M IN THE BATHROOM AND SOME CREEP WAS CHASING ME! WHAT DO I DO?

And like always, she responded instantly saying...

OMG IDK! STAY THERE I GUESS IF YOU LEAVE HE MIGHT BE OUTSIDE WAITING FOR YOU!

Great, just great! I go to the bathroom to get away from one strange creep, to now get chased by some other creep!? So much for habing a nice, easy day second day of school.

I decided to at least, UNLOCK and walk out of the stall, and just the stall. I looked around cautiously making sure no one elese was in the bathroom. (considering how quiet it was) And just as I had taken a breath and sighed of relief, my phone vibrated causing me to jump in fear. I pulled my phone out to see that I had one new message. I unlocked it and saw that the message was from Mac, but what she put on the text, and what it said was not at all reassuring to me. The text said...

TO: ALEX

OMG OMG OMG! HARRY'S ON HIS WAY TO PROBABLY 'HELP'. YOU BETTER DO SOMETHING FAST AS IN ASAP OR NOW!

"Oh my gosh. Harr's on his way. W-what do I do? What should I do? What CAN I do?" All these different and confusing questions were just all bundling more and more in my brain. I mean, what could Harry of all people possibly want to do to me?! Could he be trying to play along with whoever was chasing me? I highly doubt that HARRY would ever want to come and help or even SAVE me, considering all of the encounters and conversations that we've had with each other so far. Maybe this is his chance and shot at revenge towards me, for everything that I've said to him and how I've acted towards him today.

But whatever the case, I've gotta move and move FAST. So that being said, I did the first thing and probably the worst mistake ever. I walked casually out of the girls bathroom, and when I felt like I was safe and in the clear...
