~Emily's POV~
Hi I'm Emily, and I'm a princess. Yeah, weird I know. Well I wasn't always a princess. It's just my dad fell in love with the queen, and blah blah blah. You get the picture right?

My step sister Annie hates me, but my other step sister Veronica loves me. Weird huh? As you can imagine, I live in a castle. Believe it or not, the castle is no where near the civility. It's like a 10 minute drive. So you could imagine when I was up all night watching anime, and I woke up late for school. Let's just say I almost died.
I don't get a ride to school because of my sister Annie. She takes the car and makes sure she leaves without me. My poor feet don't deserve that.

I go to a public school by the way. Not some rich preppy school. I was definitely not going there. It's a nice school. Although none of the students know I'm the princess. I kinda wanted to keep it on the low. Well, there is one person who knows. My best friend Lilly Anderson. She's been with me ever since I can remember.

Currently, I'm sitting on my bed while the Royal Doctor is checking my arm, "Yup. It's sprained. How did this even happen Emily."

"I just tripped and fell on a rock. You know how clumsy I am doc. It's no big deal," I said trying to cover up the fact I just sprained my arm.

"Emily, the truth," Doctor Lefario demanded while putting a cast on my arm.

"Ouch," I complained. My arm hurt a lot. "Fine, I fell down the stairs."

Doctor Lefario glanced at me for a second be fore turning back to my arm. I took that as a "keep going" sign.

"I may have been running to lunch, and maybe slipped down a flight of stairs," I continued while trying not to focus on Doc's glaring face.

"Im sorry, OK? Just please don't tell my dad," I pleaded while getting on the floor and begging.

"Too late," I looked back at the door across the room to the door, where my father was standing.

"Really Emily, you sprained your arm. Come on you promised you'd be more careful," he said making me flinch a little.

"Oh my dear father," where am I going with this? "I am a growing young girl, and when I get craves, I ne-," ahh so that's what I'm going for.

"Stop!" He yelled, trying to stop the conversation from going any further. "I get, I get it Emily."

I'm so smart. Using the period card. I amaze myself. I bet he's going to let me off easy like he always does, and forget this ever happened, "And that's why I decided to get you a bodyguard."

Wait. A what?

"Dad, did you just say a bodyguard?" I questioned him.

"Yes," he replied. He looked dead serious.

Is this guy crazy? There must be a screw loose somewhere. I don't want a damn bodyguard!

"Why the hell do I need a bodyguard?" I jumped of my bed and started throwing a tantrum. "All I did was fall down the stairs!

"It's not just that, you've done so many other dangerous things," he grabbed my shoulders, trying to calm me down. "Yesterday you went to the woods without permission, and got lost. Veronica went looking everywhere for you."

It's true. Veronica did go looking for me. When she found me, she was battered up from all the thorns and branches she ran into. I instantly felt bad.

My dad looked at me with with a sympathetic face, "Do you understand Emily?"

"Fine. I'll have a stupid bodyguard," I grumbled while walking to the kitchen. I'm gonna go get some ice cream.

I don't need a bodyguard

~3rd Person's POV~
Not to far away from the Kingdom of Casterwick, is a boy who is currently taking a nap on a tree branch. His face is covered by a picture.

"Well, I guess I should get going," the boy sighed, as he jumped off the tree. "I don't want to be late to meet my princess."

The boy started walking off, but left the picture on the ground.

"Heh, this'll be fun," he laughed, as he walked down the streets.
