Deceitful Ambition

I feel as if I have been trampled on......
As if I am awaiting my demise
As these so called companions destroy my flesh but still I was too gullible to detect their lies
They were deceitful
I was not
They were negative
I was not
But my conscience was too innocent towards them so everything that they did wrong
I intentionally forgot
Withstanding fatal blow after blow as they attempt to tarnish my spirit
Nevertheless they couldn't succeed since my heart is in sync with a lion
Once it beats instantly  it roars so the echoes from my throbbing heart you can vaguely hear it
Withstanding fatal blow after blow towards my back from the beating
Matured and awakened  from slumber I realize that they were just enemies cloaked as allies
But surely they were living off my presence
Focused on thrashing my heart and soul
But they will never understand my essence
They can never comprehend
How the adrenaline gets so exponentially high when you realize you are extremely close to win
They have been disappointed various times no matter how many idiotic and ignorant men they send
I feel I correlate to Nas back in Ether
Trying to transform these foolish ones into believers
While being paranoid with these ruthless unloyal associates
Trying to retain myself from using profanity so I will just name these savages deceivers
But all is still well
Life is still great
I have matured enough to withstand this massive amount of weight
These unloyal companions revealed their true motives
But thankfully that must've been the way of fate
But I am older
I am wiser
I can distinguish an honest brother from a liar
Keep caution of many since not every ally will reveal their true desire ........
