Heather's POV
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?" I shouted at my mother, enraged by what she just told me. "Yes! And I don't want to hear another word about it. We will discuss this situation later, but for now go to your room." The devil herself ordered.
With one last grunt, I stomped straight up to my room, slamming the door in the process. I threw myself on my bed, and screamed into my pillow. 'How did my life get so messed up?' I thought to myself.
I guess you're wondering what the hell is happening right? Well let me start by telling you a little about myself first.
My name is Heather Anne Scott. I live in New York City. I'm 17 years old, about 5'6. I have greyish blue eyes, and dirty blonde hair that goes to the middle of my back. I've been told I have a pretty nice body, so I've got at least one thing going for me.
Anyways, back to the issue I'm currently in. So you see, I may have done something semi-bad, and my mom completely lost her shit. She went ballistic, made a few calls, and now I'm being sent off to boarding school in L.A.. I mean what I did was a mistake, I surely don't deserve this though. It's completely unfair, and total bullshit.
I decided to call my best friend Ally, I needed to tell her what happened.
The phone rang twice before she answered.
"Hello?" "Hey I need to tell you something, and it's not good news." I told her. "Uh oh did your mom find out?" She asked. "Yup." I said popping the 'p'. "That's not the bad news though," "Spit it out already! I would like to know before I grow grey hair." She said impatiently. "Okay okay." I took a deep breath. "I'm being shipped across the country to a boarding school in L.A.." I said, getting straight to the point.
"You're fucking with me right?" "I'm sorry Ally. I didn't think I'd get into this much trouble, but you know how my mom is. To her it's the worst thing in the world." I sighed out.
"I feel like this is all my fault. If I hadn't-" I cut her off before she could finish. "No trust me, it wasn't your fault, if anything it was mine. You tried to warn me and I didn't listen." "Shit what am I going to do Al?" I was starting to get choked up, just the thought of leaving everything I know is hard to bare. All over some stupid decision.
"Oh Heather! I'm so sorry. Do you know when you have to leave?" She asked
I sighed, "Apparently in a few days." "WHAT?!? That's too soon." She yelled. "This whole thing sucks ass. I don't want to go to some new place, when all of my friends are here." I didn't know who to be more mad at. My mom or myself.
"What am I going to do without you?" She asked with a sad voice. "I know. I'm going to miss everyone so much, especially you Ally. You're my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without you."
At this point, a few tears had fallen down my cheeks.
"Alright well I have to go, but we need to have a going away party for you. So I'll call everyone up and have them all be there." She told me. "Thanks Ally, for everything." "No problem Heather, alright talk to you tomorrow." With that we both hung up.
It was pretty late, so I thought I'd just go to sleep. I didn't want to deal with my mother, but it was inevitable. I knew I had to face her in the morning, I'm just not ready to have another screaming match with her.
Soon I'll be at a boarding school in L.A., 2,789.4 miles away from home. I guess that's what I get for being so stupid, hopefully it won't be too bad.
With one last heavy sigh, I drifted off into a deep slumber. At least I could escape from my problems for a few more hours.
