Heather's POV
It's been 2 days, and I'm still getting situated in my classes. I had to go and pick up my uniform, which wasn't as bad as I expected, it was actually pretty cute. There was a semi-short skirt, that was very form fitting. It was plaid and dark blue and white. And the shirt was a white button up. So I was content with the outfit.
My roommates are great, they have been showing me all of these cool places to go. Like the rec room, where students go to play basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball, do yoga, and there's even a pool.
I've also met more people in a few of my classes. In my English class a met three guys who all seemed to be good friends. Their names are Ryan, Isaac, and Clark. They're really cool guys, and they're hilarious. Then in my physics class, I met a girl named Kayla. She was nice, we even went to get a coffee to get to know each other more. Apparently she lives in the same dorm as me, which was cool.
There were more people that I became acquainted with, but I couldn't remember their names. Oh well, I'll learn them eventually.
I hadn't had any more run ins with that Taylor girl, thank god. I did hear from Kayla that she was in our class, but she hasn't shown up yet. But she is known as the school's bad girl, and people also say that she's some sort of badass. But what do I know, we've had one exchange and it wasn't one I'd like to remember.
But for some reason I can't get her stupid smirk out of my head. That girl just screams trouble, and I don't know how I feel about that.
I think I'll just keep my distance, because I don't know what kind of person she is, besides all of the rumors floating around school about her.
Right now I was just laying on my bed, scrolling through Instagram. I follow all of those funny yet relatable accounts, and they're the best. It's enough to keep me entertained for awhile.
Both Lindsey and Alice had class, so I decided to have a lazy day while they were gone, since I finished my classes this morning.
I had three classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And two on Tuesday and Thursday. It was much better schedule than having to go to 7 classes everyday like I used to.
I decided that I should stop being lazy, and get my ass out of this bed. I threw on some leggings and a sweatshirt, since it was a little chilly outside. I put on my white converse, then grabbed my wallet and sunglasses.
I'm not really sure where I'm going, but I just wanted to get out of the room. I heard that there was a cool little lounge where they had live music somewhere around here. Maybe I'll go and check it, I have to find it first though.
I was wondering around campus for about 10 minutes trying to find this place. I finally thought I should ask for directions, which I absolutely hate doing.
"Hey excuse me?!?" I shouted to a guy that was walking past me. He seemed a little caught off guard until he realized I was the one who had called him.
"Uh yeah hi." He said in more of a questioning way. Wondering why I was talking to him.
"Would you mind telling me where I can find a lounge place that has live music. I've heard there was one on campus, but I have no clue where or what it's called." I said.
"Oh yeah, I know where that is. It's called 'The Lounge' original I know." We both laughed at that. "Do you know where the rec center is." I nodded. "Well it's in the building across from it, it's in between a few other shops, but I'm sure you'll find it." He directed me.
"Okay cool thanks..." I kind of left it hanging hoping he'd tell me his name.
"Oh it's Carter. Nice to meet you..." He did the same thing. "Heather." I told him. "Well I guess I'll see ya later Heather." He waved goodbye and left.
