~ Chapter 34 ~

"I still cant believe your doing this" Harry's sighed on the other end of the phone.

"She needs someone Harry, I want to be there for her" I told him, with the phone pressed to my ear.

I stopped at a red light and glanced out the window.

"I know what she did was wrong, but Victoria really needs someone" I tell Harry and couldn't help but giggle as he groaned.

"Why couldn't you have just stayed here with me?" Harry whined. "We could have cuddled......or fucked each others brains out" I could just see the smirk on his face.

"I already told you, Harry. And maybe later" I smirked, even though he couldn't see it. I heard him let out a long sigh. I felt bad for leaving him, but I wanted to check on Victoria and make sure she was okay. Yeah I know she shouldn't have done what she done, but I still felt bad for the girl. She didn't have anyone.

"Fine. But you owe me" Harry said, making me roll my eyes playfully.

I finally arrived at Victoria's place. I knew she was going to be surprised to see me and I was actually looking forward to talking to her. I knew she needed someone to be there for her and she needed someone to talk to. And I wanted to be that person.

I walk up to the door and knock, shoving my hands in the pocket of my jacket as I waited for an answer. A few seconds later and the door opens, revealing a surprised Victoria.

"Abby.....what are you doing here?" She asked, gesturing me to come in. I walk in and turn to her as she closes the door.

"I just came to check up on you" I smile softly, but she just looks surprised.

"Why would you ever care how I am? After what I did...." She trails off, looking down.

"It's alright, it's all in the past and Harry and I are fine" I grinned.

"Good. I'm happy for you two" She smiles, motioning for me to follow her. I follow her into the living room. I take of my jacket before taking a seat next to her on the couch. "I'm really glad you care enough to check on me" She smiles.

"It's no problem, really" I smile softly.

"Would you like something to drink?" She asks nicely.

"No thanks, I'm fine" I grin and she nods. I bit my lip before talking "So tell me......why did your boyfriend leave you when he found out you were pregnant?" I ask curiously. She looks at me then drops her head, letting out a sigh. I knew it wasn't my place to ask, but I was just wondering.

"I don't know..." Victoria mumbles, shrugging. "We were so happy together.....or at least I thought so.....and then when I told him I was pregnant....he left and I haven't heard from him since" She mumbled. I could tell it was hard for her to talk about it. "I loved him so much...." She said, her eyes watering up. "I really thought we were going to be together forever" She bit her lip. I felt bad for her. I knew it had to be awful for that to happen.

"Don't worry about him, okay? Obviously that guy is shit and you deserve better" I said, putting my hand on hers in a comforting way. I was just a nice person and I hated seeing people all upset, it didn't matter who it was.

"Really?" Victoria looks up at me with tears in her eyes.

"Yes" I smile, making her smile. Before I knew it, she was hugging me. I sit there awkwardly for a moment before hugging her back.

"Thank you, Abby. Thank you so, so much" She says, making me smile.

"You're welcome" I smile. I was glad to be able to help her out.
