Catnip

Vincent fiddled with his keys as he went to open the door to his apartment. Today he wanted to try something new so while at the store he picked up a small pack of catnip for Scott. From the other side he could hear the kitten meowing, excited to see his owner return home.

Once Vincent entered opened the door he want greeted warmly by Scott rubbing up against his legs, crying loudly to him as he did. Vincent rolled his eyes, Scott's bowl was most likely empty again. He walked to the kitchen and put the bags of groceries on top the table before turning back to look at the kitten that was pawing at his legs.

"Ok ok I can take a hint." Vincent said and went to get the small kitten some food. The kitten followed him, becoming more excited when he saw his owner heading to his food bowl. He watched in anticipation as his owner opened up the bag of food and poured it into his bowl. Once Vincent placed the food on the floor Scott was quick to shove his face in and devour it.

Vincent stood back up, turning back to the bags he brought in and took each item to it's proper place. Once Scott finished his food he licked his lips and paws before looking back to his owner, now wanting his attention.

Meanwhile Vincent was focused on the bag of catnip, wondering how he'd give it to Scott. He figured it'd be best to sprinkle it on a towel so it wouldn't make as big a mess. He walked to the bathroom and grabbed one then came back to the kitchen to see Scott stilling sitting by his bowl, watching his owner as he waited patiently to see what he'd do.

Scott became a bit startled when Vincent suddenly threw the towel out to lay on the floor. Scott calmed down and hesitantly got closer as his owner got on his knees by the towel and opened up the bag of catnip. Scott's nose twitched as stared at the bag in Vincent's hand, curious as to what exactly it was. Vincent took out a pinch of the catnip and allowed Scott to take a whiff of it, just to test if he'd like it or not. Scott sniffed it for a moment before emitting a small sneeze, making Vincent jump slightly in surprise before chuckling.

Vincent then placed the pinch of catnip down on the towel for Scott to enjoy and within the next minute Scott was curled up in the towel, inhaling and licking the catnip whilst Vincent watched, occasionally letting out a laugh when Scott emitted more sneezes.

He was pretty happy he decided to get that catnip.
