Unleash the Magic

I am standing in the main campus with the Rainbooms and Sapphire for the final event. The sky looked so gloomy that I think it was about to rain. We are already on our regular school clothes. I felt awful about what happened earlier. I can't focus in the games anymore. And neither does the others too. We all felt awful. I explained the whole story to Sapphire as well.

Then before we got here, Sunset came to me and told me everything that happened while I was talking to Twilight after Sunset got angry. She said that Principal Cinch thinks that the Wondercolts are cheating because of the magic madness that happened earlier.

"Since the score was tie, the final event will determine the winner of the Friendship Games. Somewhere on campus opponent from each team has been hidden." Cadence announced.

While Vice Principal Luna explained the rules. "The first team that finds their school's flag and bring it back wins."

"And as soon as the teams are ready, we'll begin." -Cadence

I turned back at my team and looked at my teammate's faces.

"I don't like playing these games anymore." Flutter shy said with a frown holding her arm.

"But we have to play! This is the last event!" Rainbow Dash is worried still with hope that we can win.

"It's little hard to focus with all the magic stealing and portal opening." Rarity reasoned.

"And I feel awful of what I said to Twilight." Sunset told us. While me and Sapphire are just speechless and just listening to every word they're saying.

"Especially when she obviously didn't mean to do all the stuff she did. She's actually really nice." said Fluttershy in a really soft voice.

Sunset slapped her two hands in her face and buried it in her hands.

Everyone except for Sunset liked at Fluttershy with a face expression indicating that she should't have said that. And she walked for a few steps away.

"Let's just get through this last event and prove we're not a bunch of cheaters. Then you could go over and apologise." Apple Jack said comforting Sunset.

Sunset smiled while we all nodded.

I looked at the Shadowbolts team. And they're surrounding Twilight. I wanted to eavesdrop on them. So I went to Sunset. "Ummm... Sunset. Can I go somewhere. I need something." I told her. Sunset thought for awhile. "Sure. But be back in time for the next event." I nodded and went near the other team to listen to what they're saying.

But unfortunately, they're singing to Twilight...

'Call it power, call it magic

If we lose, it will be tragic

More important is the knowledge we have lost

A chance like this won't come again

You'll regret not giving in

Isn't understanding magic worth the cost?

I then remembered to go back to my team for the games. So I ran back not being seen by the Shadowbolts. And when I got there, I kept looking at them. "Ummm..Sunset?" I said.

"Yes. I know." She said. Then she started walking to begin the games. I was worried that bad things are gonna happen.

"Approachings are ready!" said Luna.

Now winning these games depends on me

And the doors might open if I try to use it

"The last event of the Friendship Games begins..." said Cadence.

Then Sunset already knew what she was doing. She ran towards her telling her to stop.
