The October sun glowed with an autumn mellow
The Arctic terns hummed in harmony
The dewdrops on the black roses of the wintry month
The canopy allowing not a speck of the light sunrays.

Heart plummeted against her ribs
Breaths caught in her throat
A ringing sound in her ears, loud and boisterous
The silence echoing with her rugged breaths.

The nostalgic blunder of getting lost
Wandered through the mind of the ten-year old
When suddenly she felt herself elope
In the warm embrace of the fifteen-year old.

Their hearts thudded in synchronisation
The perfect blend of matter
The odour of relief gushing through their veins
A page of hurdles finally over

The admiration in her earthy orbs for her superhero
Could cure cancer and mend broken hearts
The fear of losing his adorable doll
Could start wars and imprison the bravest

"You saved me, " she numbly cried
He silently nodded distrusting his voice
"Mom was right, you are my Superhero," she wondered aloud
His blazing eyes screamed hate for the cursed woman

Sound in their nest, the birds chirped in delightful glee
The hatred of the two lovers
Had given way to the open door of adoration
For the innocent siblings.
