a person of unnatural or extreme ugliness, deformity, wickedness, or cruelty.
Monsters are real.
But they are not what we think of. They don't have scaly skin or sharp teeth or big claw and they don't murder the defenseless.
They are people. People who were horribly hurt in someway and that created a monster inside of them that killed no one else but themselves.
