I woke up groaning, especially because of the pain in my ribs. I slowly opened my eyes, but quickly shut them once a bright light coming from the window blinded me. I kept my eyes closed for a couple of seconds, then opened them again letting my vision adjust to the light.

I went to get up, but two things stopped me. The fact that a body was laying on top of me, and the pain that shot through my body. I quickly laid down again and looked down to see Ally snuggling closer to me.

I pecked her forehead before wrapping my arm around her. My other arm was running through her hair.

Alex, are you okay? Yeah, just a little weak. But I'll be better in no time. What about you? Yeah, I'm good.

A small yawn broke me out of my thoughts. I looked down again, and Ally was slowly waking up.

"Hey Babygirl" I whispered loud enough for her to hear, my voice was hoarse and dry.

Her head quickly whipped my way and her eyes widened. "Y/n!" she screamed hugging me, then started sobbing on my shoulder.

"I-I was so w-worried" she sobbed. I rubbed her back soothing her, while whispering that I was okay over and over again on her ear.

We stayed like that for a few minutes, until Jemma came through the door. She saw I was awake and smiled. She walked to my other side and unplugged the IV from my arm. I breathed out in relief, I really hate this shit.

"How are you feeling, Parks?" she asked.

"I'm good, Jemma. Just a little bit of pain, but it should go away soon" I said. She nodded and told me I could leave the hospital area whenever I wanted. I nodded and she left the room.

"Babe, do you want to leave already?" Ally asked. I replied with a quiet "yeah" and she slowly got up and helped me get up too.

Jemma left some clothes for me, so I changed into a gray hoodie, black nike sweatpants and slippers. Ally interlaced our fingers and we left the room.

I was hungry as hell, so we went straight to the kitchen. Once we arrived there I noticed all the girls' families already eating. My eyes widened and I took a little step back. Ally looked at me and pulled me slightly so I was walking with her again.

As we got into the kitchen, everyone turned to us, and their eyes widened once they saw me. Pat and Jerry quickly got up and rushed to us. They engulfed me in a group hug, but careful not to hurt or pressure into one of my wounds.

"Y/n, are you feeling better?" Pat asked. I nodded and smiled.

"Yeah, just feeling a little weak, but the pain I was feeling earlier is already gone" I told them. I greeted everyone and reassured them I was fine, then sat down with Ally on the two chairs left.

"Babygirl, what do you want?" I asked Ally. She shook her head and grabbed two waffles and put them on her plate, then picked three and put them on my plate. I pouted at her and said "I was going to pick them for you".

"Your still healing. Today, I'm doing things to you" she said. I pouted, but she gave me the pout and the puppy eyes, and I quickly gave in. I nodded and she squealed.

"But only if you let me take you out on a date" I said. She instantly nodded and pecked my cheek.

"Y/n/n" I heard a small voice call my name. I looked around and spotted Sofi already looking at me.
