They kissed, stopped to look into each others eyes and kissed again. He pinned her to the wall and with his hook, pulled her hair behind her ear. She grabbed his leather coat with a firm grip. They moved next to bed, on which Emma fell. He leaned over her, still kissing and she kept giving in, until his hand slid down her neck and then her clothes. She turned her head away and pushed him to the side so she could get up.
"I'm sorry." she mumbled and left the cabin running. His eyes were still on the door by which she left and he sighed. The memories of the last few minutes played again and again in his mind.
Emma ran to the deck and found Robin and Regina talking, Baelfire at the helm. She walked over to the side of the boat and leaned, gazing at the island that was coming closer.
"Emma, you're okay?" she heard and turned around. Regina was looking at her, worried.
"Yeah, just tired." she said.
"Where's Hook? We need a plan, we can't just walk in Neverland and grab Henry." Neal said from afar. Regina glanced at Robin.
"I'll get him." the thief replied.
As Robin left, Regina approached her friend. "Did something happen? Cause given the look on your face..."
"I'll tell you later, Bae's coming."
Regina nodded as Baelfire came to them. He looked at the two women but did not ask questions. Robin and Hook arrived a minute after.
"So, what do you know about this Neverland?" Robin asked.
"It's not a place you want to be trapped in." Hook replied. "Pan is a real threat, even if he only looks like a kid. He's way older than all of us, by the way. Beware of his lost boys and dreamshade."
"Dreamshade?" Emma repeated.
"It's a poison. Most of the lost boy's arrows are tipped in it so we need to be very careful." explained Bae.
"And what's our plan? We can't just walk in there, like you said." Regina asked.
"I suggest that we get to a high point to have a great view of the island. Like that, we'll be able to locate Pan's camp easily," the Captain suggested. "And I know someone that might help, well, maybe she'll be more willing to if one of you talks to her."
"Who?" Baelfire asked.
"Tinker Bell." Hook declared.
* * *
"There we are." Hook said as he stepped on the white sand of the beach. "Oh, how I did not miss this place."
"Me neither." Bae added.
"This doesn't really look like a dangerous place." Regina said.
"Just wait, you'll see. Now, let's go save my son."
Our son, Emma thought as they started walking in the forest. She started wondering how he looked like. Does he look like me or more like his father? What about his interests? What does he know about me? Lost in her thoughts, she found herself at the end of the group. Hook walked slower in order to get to Emma.
"I'm sorry, for earlier." he spoke very softly.
"It's not you- just forget it. It never happened." she replied.
"What about what you said before, then?" he asked.
"I... I don't know."
"Was it true? Did you mean it?"
"I did."
Regina looked behind her shoulders to see the two of them talking. She tried to understand what was happening between the both of them.
* * *
"We should make camp." Hook said. "It's getting dark and it is not safe here."
"But Hen-"
"Your son will have more chances to come back to you if you're alive. and you know what Pan is capable of. We need to take turns for watch. I can go first."
"I'll take second." Regina said. And after their order was established, they built their small camp for the night and all went to sleep, except Killian. He sat on the rock, next to where Emma was sleeping and looked around the forest, searching for any sign of Pan or any of his lost boys. Eventually, he found himself glancing at Emma, who then opened her eyes.
"Can't sleep?" he whispered.
"Not really..." she admitted.
"Is it about-"
"Wait, do you hear this?" she asked him as she got up.
"Hear what?" he asked, worried. She got the knife hidden in her boot and started walking in the forest where he followed her.
"This sound... It's, wait, I think it's someone crying." she declared and started to go faster as it got louder, but Killian still did not hear a thing. She ran towards the muffled cry and he tried to warn her.
"Emma, this is probably one of Pan's tricks! Stop!" he let her out of his sight for just a moment and now he could not see her.
Emma had found a boy hidden behind the huge leaves of a tree. "Hey," she said, "are you okay?"
"N-no, y-you should not-"
"Emma?" they heard Hook calling for her from afar.
"Should not what?" she asked but he did not want to answer, he seemed so scared. "What's your name?" she then asked him.
"H-Henry." he replied and her heart skipped a beat. She scanned him, head to toe and looked at her boy for the very first time since Bae had taken him. Her son! "I can't stay here, you need to leave too! There's danger, everywhere." he said and disappeared behind the leaves and branches. She tried to follow him, shouted his name, but he was nowhere to be found. Eventually, Hook was able to find her again. He grabbed her by the shoulders and tried to calm her down.
"What happened?" he asked.
She took a deep breath and looked into his eyes. She felt safe with him, at that moment. She liked his grip around her. She could not deny the good feeling of his presence that was overflowing her. She looked down.
"I just saw my son."
