Chapter 9 Paradiso Island

Alexandra POV

Today, Thalia and I are planning to have a lunch in thier hotel the David Empire Hotel and after lunch as usual, going shopping or going to have a charity work on Nancy Charity Foundation.
That's her mom foundation. Aunt Nancy, mother of Thalia my bestfriend build the foundation for the homeless children.
That's our usual routine on weekend.

I'm on my way to the hotel when my phone rang.
I look at my phone to see who's caller and i saw the caller's name flashed on the screen. "It was Blaze."

I answered the call and tap the loud speaker button.

Me: hello, Blaze? Why did you call me?

B: hi Alex! Look on your left side.

I look on my left side and to my surprise, I saw Blaze in his moving car just beside my moving car.

Me: where are you heading? Okay, i can't talk to you like this. I just pulled over.

I ended the call, i saw a café beside the street, i stop and park my car in the parking space. Blaze also stop and park his car next to mine.

I got out of my car and walk my way toward Blaze.

"Blaze is special to me." I have a crush on him since my freshmen in the University but, i have no courage to tell him so i just go on hiding my true feelings towards him and for the fact that he is also a playboy.

"We meet halfway."

Hi Alex! Going somewhere? He asked with a smile showing his perfectly white teeth and dimple poped out in his cheek.

"My heart raced inside my chest but, i act normal."

Yup! Actually i'm on my way to meet Thalia, and have a lunch together in thier Hotel in the center of New York. The David Empire Hotel the only 7stars hotel in New York. "I stated."

I'm heading there too with Daniel to have lunch. I did'nt know that Thalia owns that 7stars Hotel? Daniel and I always go there but, we never meet her or you. "He said."

Really? I did'nt know iether. "I said with smile on my face."

"I have a plan! He said."

I look at him with questioning look.

Okay! So, here is my plan. I'm going send a message to Daniel that i'm not able to come with him because i have a date.
Of course! I will tell him that i have a date with you and you have to send a message to Thalia too, the same. Tell her you can't go with her because you have a date with me.

What do you think of my plan? He asked me with a wink.

What about Thalia and Daniel? Wait! Are you planning to set them up on a date? "I asked him with my eyes narrowing."

"You got it right! Blaze said grinning."

Okay, okay i agreed with you plan. But we have to make sure that they end up meeting.

Blaze and I drove on the way to the hotel. When i saw Thalia standing outside of thier Hotel, I stop my car and i texted her. Blaze also stop just one meter away from my car.

When i'm done sending a message to Thalia. We just stayed for a minute just to make sure that Daniel and Thalia will meet each other or else our plan will be futile...

"2 minutes of waiting, i saw Daniel got out of his car and walk his way towards Thalia."

Perfect! Our plan is working... i giggled with my thoughts.

Daniel and Thalia went inside the hotel, while Blaze and I decided to take our lunch in the hotel but, in different VIP table.

We don't need reservation because they already know me.
The waiter guide us to our table.

What is your order ma'am? "Ask by the waiter."

"I order my usual menu i always eat here." Just like Thalia i have also a big appetite. "Pasta Carbonara and Medium rare Steak and for the dessert Banana Split vanilla ice cream, please. I said to the waiter."

Blaze chuckled and said. "Still have a big appetite."

Yup!
"This is our third time Blaze and I go out on a date." He always teases me that i ate like a man but, i don't care what he to think of me. I'm just being myself.

"How about you sir? Said by the waiter."

"Garden salad, Medium rare Steak with mash potato and Blue berry cheesecake. Blaze ordered."

Anything else ma'am/sir? Said by the waiter.

"That would be all. We both said in chorus."

So, what are you planning after this? Blaze ask me.

Well, suppose to be Thalia and I are planning to go shopping after we have lunch. Eventually that's not gonna happen because you ruined it.
"I said to him while my one eyebrow rising up."

"So, now it's my fault? He ask his eyes narrowing."

Just kidding! I chuckled towards his reaction. He's so cute when he do that.
"Okay, Alexa get a gripped of yourself! I scolded myself."

"You always play prank on me, by the way proceed to our topic."
Where do you want to go after this? Aside from shopping? Blaze ask me.

"You decide where to go, i'll just go with you. I told Blaze."

Okay fine!

"Our food arrived and we started eating in silent."

I guess Daniel and Thalia off to somewhere. I told Blaze.

"How do you know? Blaze ask me."

Look, behind you. They're leaving the hotel. Where do you think they going?
"I ask Blaze."

No idea! Blaze murmured.

What about us? Where are we going? "Again i ask Blaze."

Relax! I think, i know a place where we go. I just seen it on facebook. There's a beach resort named "Paradiso Island". Have you heard of that? Blaze ask me.

Nope! I didn't heard of that beach resort. What about it? I ask inreturn.

"It's Grand opening today starts at 3pm onwards. So, are you coming with me or not? Blaze said."

Do i have a choice?
Kidding! Ofcourse, i love to go on beach resort. "I stated."

Alright then, it settled.
"Paradiso Island here we come!"
We both chukled in our childish act.

After we done eating our lunch. Blaze said i have to leave my car in the hotel parking and he decided to drive his car and i have to ride with him.

We went out of the hotel and his color blue porsche convertible latest model are already waiting for us.

"We left at the hotel at exactly 2pm going to Paradiso Island."

I just stared outside of the road. Sometime's i throw a glance at him and to my surprise, he also glancing at me. I just stared back on the road and i'm feeling a little heat on my cheeks. I'm blushing!

"My gosh! Why is that he's so handsome. Where is the justice?"

After 1hour and 10minutes of driving we reach our destination the "Paradiso Island".
