Chapter 8 Interrupted by a phone call

Daniel POV

I manage to persuade Thalia to come with me. I thought i had a hard time on her but, i was wrong.

"Thalia was so nice and she's beautiful, really beautiful."

Before we rode to my place.
I already contacted our pilot. I'm planning to bring her at my secret place.
"As i thought of what could be her reaction i hid a smile inside my head."

We arrived at my parents mansion. I still lived with my parents but, still i'm alone.

My parents are always on a business trip anywhere in the country. We only meet in a special ocassions and gatherings.

" I know money can buy anything but, there's also money can't buy. Happiness."

We're rich or rather i say wealthy but sometimes i'm willing to trade my wealth to find my happiness.

"I don't care about the money as long as i'm in good health, happy and be with my family, i'm contented with that."

I snapped out of my thoughts when Thalia ask me if this my place.

Is this your mansion? "She ask."

Yup! Welcome to my home! I replied to her.

You have a nice home! Why did you take me her? She ask again.

Actually this is not yet our destination. "I said to her."

She looks curious now.
Come here! I said to her and i hold her right hand entertwined with mine.

Everytime i touched her, i felt electrified my heart pounding so hard inside my chest, but i just act normal.
I can sense that she surprise of my act.

I walked first and she just followed my lead. Thalia look really surprise of what she saw. We're going to rode on the chopper.

I got in first, i held her hand for her get in the chopper and she sat beside me. When the chopper started to take off i saw Thalia closing her eyes so i told her to open her eyes.
"She did what i say."

Her eyes widen and mouth open when she look out and saw the breath taking view.

(Fast forward)

"After we dive and snorkling we sat on the wooden beach chair and watch the sun to set."

She sipped on her rasberry juice. When i started a conversation.

"Thalia", i know that you don't know me well, but still you choose to come with me. I'm really happy i get to know you. "I said to her"

"Me too Daniel".
I'm very happy to know you and to be with you at this moment.
"She said in a low voice just enough for me to hear what she said."

"I smiled at her showing my perfect white teeth and she smiled back at me genuinely."
From this moment our eyes lock together.
"I could feel my heart rapidly beating inside my chest."

I'm still looking to her eyes this time i changed my gaze in serious mood.

I lean closer and closer and closer, still our eyes lock together. I fight the urged inside of me, i'm debating with myself if i should kiss her or not, but when i saw her closing her eyes. The idea poped out inside my head telling me that she want me to kiss her.

"I close my eyes and I almost kiss her when suddenly my phone ring."
