"Fireball!" Will yelled, and everyone else screamed.
You giggled at the boys' reaction, considering something of that sort happened every 15 minutes for the past five hours.
"Dustin, Lucas, Will!" Mrs. Wheeler called down the stairs, "Jonathan is here for you guys!"
"Bye Mike! Bye Y/n!" The three boys walked up the stairs.
"I should probably get going." You stood and reached for your bag.
"Wait, Y/n, you don't have to leave, not just yet." Mike grabbed your wrist and dragged you to the couch.
You hopped over the back of the couch, and sunk into the cushion. Mike sat next to you and sighed.
"Is something wrong? You seem upset all of a sudden." You placed your clamy hand on his knee.
"It's just that I'm sick and tired of being told how to feel! They all say that just because iI'm young that I can't be in love! Well, that's all bullshit! I am in love, with a wonderful, beautiful girl, and I just want to be with her already!" Mike ranted.
You were taken back by his outburst. You've liked him for the longest time, but he is obviously talking about someone else. Maybe El.
"Mike, if you truely love this girl, I say go for it! Whoever it is, you'll be the cutest couple ever!" You pretended to be happy for Mike, even though you were green with envy.
"Really? I should just go for it?" Mike asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
You nodded, as did he.
"Okay, I will."
He grabbed your hand, that still was on his knee. He stared into your eyes and began to scoot closer.
You sat perfectly still, shocked at what was about to happen.
He leaned in and you closed your eyes.
Mike's soft lips pushed against yours, and you melted into the kiss.
It was short, but sweet. Mike pulled away, only to find you blushing with the biggest smile on your face.
"I'm the girl?" You squealed.
Mike nodded and laughed, "Will you go out with me?"
"Only if we can be the cutest couple ever."
"Of course."
