Only One? (chapter 4)

(Lucy's pov)

Why did I agree to walk around in a creepy deserted town? The houses are seriously molding and the wood, well at least most of the wood have holes in it and was filled with lots of creepy crawlies. I don't notice anything different.

(Happy's pov)

I am looking through the air and I notice that most of the roofs of the houses have already collapsed, or was about to. I didn't really notice anything different about the houses except for one house that had gold lining the roof. As I got closer to that house I saw some spikes surrounding it. Maybe someone or something is in there, I should definitely get Natsu and Lucy to check this out with me. So I start looking for Natsu because he was the closest to me. He was in front of me but Lucy was behind me, so basically they were both heading in the same direction: towards me. So I guess I'll just wait for them to come to me.

(Natsu's pov)

I noticed that the houses were moldy and collapsed. But then I see Happy looking around in the air like he found something, so I started heading towards him and I saw a golden lined house with spikes around it and a chained up door." This looks interesting" I say aloud. I decide to wait for Lucy.

(Lucy's pov)

I finally see something, it is a nice looking building, with gold roof lining and pointy spikes. Also, Natsu & Happy are standing right by it, I guess they were waiting for me. It figures that I was the last one to get to the first clue about the mission. I wonder who got there first, I guess I'll just have to ask.

(Nobodies pov)

Lucy catches up to Natsu and Happy, and although they had a difficult time getting over the spikes and breaking the chains, they were able to enter the mysterious house that was different from all the rest. Inside of it they found a single trey with a plate of lunch food and a cup of chai tea resting on a dark wooden table with a small chair to match it.

"I feel like this is somebody's house. Maybe we shouldn't go in any more." Said Lucy. "Nah, it should be fine." Natsu replied.
Then Happy interups us, saying:"Ok then, it's settled.........We are going in!"

We are in the back of the mysterious house that we decided was our first clue about the mission, and the person who sent it. What we found was a small bedroom with a closet, a bathroom,another door that led to who knows what, and a one person futon (a small, thin Japanese bed.) But no people yet. "I don't understand, why isn't there any people here Luce?" Said Happy. "I don't know Happy." Lucy replied. "Wait, there is." Said Natsu."I smell him. "I wish I had your nose, all I smell is soap, and a burning stove." Said Happy. "You have wings, so we are even." Natsu replied. Then Happy just nodded in agreement. Luce giggled at their funny weirdness, but then got serious and asked:"So where is this person you claim to smell?" * sniff- sniff* "On the back porch, which is right past this second door." He says. "Ohhhh, so that is where this door leads." Lucy and Happy said in unison. Natsu gave his signature toothy grin, and they went to the back porch.

Back there, they found a man with red and black hair with strange tattoos, napping on a cushioned swing chair. "There is only one person huh, he must feel pretty lonly." Natsu whispered. Lucy and Happy slowly nodded as they looked at the man.
