~The next day~

Saturday, the day that everyone loves is finally here! It's for partying, sleeping in, and doing what ever you want!

Sadly my Saturday is started off to a shitty start.

" Shouldn't another adult be here sense you're questioning a minor? "

I ask the officer as I sit on my front porch.

" Well that's why I'm doing this out in the open, I don't want to look sketchy. Besides you're not a suspect I'm just asking you a few questions as a witness. "

" I heard from Brent's mom what happened and it's dreadful but I didn't see anything, if I did the monster who did that would be behind bars. "

" So you didn't see anyone sketchy leaving or entering the house? "

The officer ask.

" No sir. "

" Alright well we will have some cops patrolling the neighborhood to make sure this person doesn't strike again. If you see anything sketchy don't hesitate to contact us. "

" Will do, thank you. "

He gives me a polite smile and walks off getting into his car and driving away.

Did I really have to stab him? I could have done something else, something more civilized.

Oh please! He's no better he would have raped you if you didn't stab him!

Still there had to be some other solution.

It's over now, move on you didn't kill him you wounded him!

The truth is sometimes I hate the way I am and the way I think. I know it's not normal to lose control when you're angry to the point where you kill someone but I don't know why I am like this and if I told my mom she would kill me herself to prevent me from soiling the family name.

It's like half of me is an angel and the other half is the devil himself and I all I want is to get rid of either one. I feel like I'm two different people with two different minds that are constantly fighting each other and at this point I don't care which one wins, I just want one to win so this confusing mess of a mind is fixed.

I walk back inside to see my mom is finally up.

" Why were you outside? "

She ask me confused. I hate the outdoors, it's full of allergy and bugs.

" Some cop came to ask if I saw anything sketchy at Bret's house. "

My mom scoffs.

" That cop could be trailed for putting a minor on trial without an adult present. "

" Relax he wasn't questioning me as a suspect just as a witness. "

" It is terrible what happened to poor Bret though, I hope they catch the guy before he tries again. "

" He? They know it's a guy? "

I ask confused.

" The damage the person left on Bret's leg was proof enough that it has to be a guy or a mannish woman. "

Mannish woman?

I look at my arms and see they are a little muscular but nothing very noticeable. Am I really mannish? I eat food mannishly but that's the only mannish feature I'm aware of.
