I walk into the school and immediately hear whispers which is a surprise because nothing ever happens here so no rumors ever get made.

" Can you believe that he's coming back? "

I hear a girl say.

" I thought he had been locked up? "

The other girl replies.

" I heard the cops were to scared of him to do anything! "

" Well I heard he's just coming to find that guy who bullied him before he went crazy! "

" I pray for that poor guy! "

So apparently a new guy is coming and he's the talk of the school. This isn't surprising, of course people are going to talk it's not every day we get a new person here.

As I'm walking to my class I notice everyone seems on edge, especially Mr.O'Neil who is usually calm and collected. Right now he's in the process of chewing on the eraser on a number two pencil. I walk into my class and everyone sits down as the bell rings.

" Alright class I'm sure everyone has heard Scott Evans is coming back, I have been told to inform you to all be as nice as you can be to him. I cannot stress this enough! He's a very....damaged child and the slightest thing can upset him but we think it might be good for him to make friends. "

Wow this guy must be a bigger deal then I thought if the teachers are told to tell us about him. A girl raises her hand and the teacher points at her signaling her to talk.

" How exactly are we suppose to be buddy-buddy with a deranged killer? "

Everyone laughs but me and the teacher. Every person has a story, even deranged people and if you don't know what has driven them to be that way then you can't judge them.

" I'm not saying you have to be friends just be friendly. "

The teacher tells her and she rolls her eyes.

" Now everyone head to the library together, we are going to be doing a reading assignment on Shakespeare, so everyone find any of his books and you will have to write a paper on it, this assignment is due next Friday so I urge you to get started and work quickly. "

We all stand up but everyone pushes me out of the way and heads out the door first, causing me to fall on my knees. I wince as my knees hit the tiled floor but quickly pick up my book bag and head to the library behind the others.

I watch as they laugh with each other, seeming to be in a perfect world full of happiness. I wish I could be apart of their world but as I look at their cheer uniforms and football jerseys I realize I'm not like them and I will never be.
