I watched her starring at my fangs with a mesmerizing look in her eyes. I tend to catch her doing that often. We made hiding in the bathroom a tradition. I was getting ready to say something but then the bell rang dismissing us to class. She ran out of the bathroom to go to her next class. I didn't have a next class though. I went straight home after school . I decided to call up the front desk to get my schedule changed. After I hung up I decided to drive back up to the school to watch Lynn leave. I pulled up just as  they were letting out. I saw Lynn in a corner surrounded by the same girls from lunch. She looked terrified. One of the girls inched closer to her and pushed her getting in her face. She lifted Lynn's face and forced a kiss on her lips before raising her hand getting ready to slap Lynn. I could feel my other side's seething anger. She took over my body and before you could blink I was over there catching the girl's hand. I stood there in front of a crying Lynn, protecting her from the girls. My other side let out an angry roar, flashing our fangs at the girls letting black consume our eyes. The girl whimpered and ran off, her friends following behind her. I returned back to my normal self turning back to Lynn. "Are you ok?" I asked. She nodded her head vigorously. I looked around seeing all the buses had left. "Come on. I'll give you a ride." She got up and followed me to my car. I opened the door for her as she got in.

"Thank you." She said softly under her breath. I just nodded in reply. "Why are you helping me?" She asked.

"Why not?"

"I'm her property. Sort of.." she said under her breath.

"I've never seen someone bully their own girlfriend." My other side said taking over.

"It's different."

"No it's bullshit that's what it is."

"There's no use in caring. It won't help."

"Well I choose to care because it isn't right. She shouldn't treat you like that. You know this but you just take it. Don't you know that there's someone out there who could treat you better?" My other side started getting louder. I saw Lynn's pupil turning red. She was trying to control it but was losing to it. She took a deep breath and returned to normal.

"Look, just take me home." she huffed.

"Your wish is my command." I started driving the route to my home.

"I live back the other way."

"Shhh." She slumped in her seat. I kept driving until I pulled into my driveway. I ran to the other side of the car opening the passenger door and carrying her out of the car.

"I can walk you know."

"I don't care."

"Put me down." She said sternly.

"No." I replied. Her eyes went red her other side taking over.

"I said put me down! Now!" I knew she was pissed. I let my other side take over.

"No!" It yelled. She went back to normal just as we entered the door. I carried her down the hall to my bedroom. I sat her on my bed and I sat in a chair by the bed. "Show me." I said taking over my body again.

"Show you what?" she asked.

"Show me the damage. What she's done to you." With that she removed her shirt revealing scratches and bruises.

"Are there anymore?" I asked. She nodded and took off her pants. There was a long bruise from the side of her lower calf leading to her upper, outer thigh. The rest were small.

"Is that all?" I asked not really wanting to see anymore. She turned around showing me the bruises on her back and the back of her legs. I walked up to her and hugged her tight. I could feel her shaking. I held her face. She was crying. I rubbed my thumb over her bottom lip, biting mine. She must've knew what I wanted because she got on her tiptoes pulling me closer to her, pressing her lips into mine. I put my tongue in her mouth exploring around it. I put my hands around her waist. Our intimate moment was ruined by the sound of yipping. My sister was here with my dog.
