focus
jeon jungkook was living the dream— riches, the girl and lives a well-known photographer, distinguished for his art of capturing sceneries that are aesthetically breathtaking. however, a tragic accident that cost him the love of his life, made him fall into an endless void. all his emotions were reflected in his photos— of sadness, anxiety and loneliness.determined to get back on his track again, he flies to japan where she meets a girl who idolizes his works. learning about his past, yeji opens up a whole new world for him— only for him to realize that the best moments in life are best left uncaptured.
"i may not be a professional photographer like you, bu i do know about the rule of thirds," yeji smiles at the scenery, the cherry blossoms decking the peak of spring.
it was a beautiful day over the park where they had accidentally met. jungkook followed closely until he was by her side, their hands warm inside the both of their pockets.
"in the rule of thirds, you can't put the subject in right at the center of your camera. you can't let it solely be the focus," she says, jungkook looking at her in amusement.
"you do realize i already know that right?" he smirks, walking backwards in front of her.
she only stopped in her tracks and looked at him straight in the eye, looking for a glimpse of hope that would somehow reciprocate her feelings, "and just like the rule of thirds, you can't let your past be the center of your life. you can't let her be your focus."
"let's not talk about her, please," he hung his head low, not meeting her eyes.
"if you keep looking at the same focus, you won't be able to look at the whole scenery. there is so much more than meets the eye. you can't realize there is somebody else who's willing to love you. and that somebody... would be me."
