A full moon hung overhead, lighting the streets up in its calm light. You sprinted down the road, gritting your teeth as you fled, a grey hood pulled over your head. Only a few seconds passed before three other figures followed quickly in your path. The threesome chasing you eventually came to a halt, panting and spitting cruel words at your now distant figure. However, the you didn't even look back. Unfazed, you just continued running at a rapid pace. Only once you rounded a corner did you slow down. Once you came to a full halt, you fell onto your knees, panting. You pulled your grey hood off, revealing yourself as a (Male/Female) with (H/C) hair, and (E/C) eyes. You finally straightened out your breathing, balling up your fist and hitting a nearby wall roughly in anger.

"Damn it!" You hissed in a whisper, while pulling your hand back and shacking it in pain. "Out of all places to get caught, it just had to-" You cut off, feeling the eyes of someone on you. As quickly as humanly possible, you stood up and glanced around in a frantic manner. "If anyone's spying on me, they'd better show themselves before they get in a bigger mess then they'd like to be in..." You growled.

"Spying?" A nearby voice came, along with a amused chuckle. You whirled towards the sound, seeing a figure in a black and white outfit standing just down the street from where she stood. It was clear why you hadn't seen him at first glance, however. His black clothing had blended in perfectly well with the darkness of night. "You're the one that sprinted down the street like your life depended on it, then hit a wall. How was I not supposed to notice you, exactly?" He pointed out, taking out a cigarette from his pocket and putting it to his mouth. It was hard to make out details, due to it being the middle of the night and you being sleep deprived enough to not care anyways.

You thought over what you said. Did you give away too much? "Just go away," you muttered. You were not feeling up to a conversation like this at the moment, at all. "And find someone else to-" You cut off as you got a full look at the other... Person..? As they approached you. They looked as you had assumed from a distance, with a white sweater and a black coat over it. The coat was either to small for him, or perhaps it was just a style, and has artificial-looking fur on its hood, and a red circle with some weird... Dragon thing in the center was on its sleeve. He also had black jeans, with seemingly purposeless stylish white triangles on them. For shoes, he had untied black snow boots. But, there was one important detail that you had missed previously.

...This man was a full, living, talking skeleton.

The strange skeleton man chuckled at you. "Staring is rude, you know." He teased, with that same amused expression on his face.

"What the heck- You're an actual SKELETON?!" You exclaimed loudly, double-taking him.

"Mhm. Oh hey, no running or screaming. That's new... Heh." He smirked lazily, his... Eye-light fixed on you. But behind his nonchalant expression, lay something different. Sadness..? You couldn't quite tell, it was just a floating light in an eye socket, after all. Though, the comment made you pity the skeleton slightly.

"How the fu- How'd you even- How?!" You stammered, staring at the skeleton with only a bit of fear. In fact, the main emotion you were feeling right now was shock; disbelief. A living skeleton... Just... How? You pondered over what you were seeing, unsure if to believe that this was real, or believe that you just fell asleep some point after stopping running.

"How'd I get here?" He raised a nonexistent eyebrow. "That... Would take a while to explain. But hey," he said, "If you have the time, I could tell you. But... It would have to be somewhere more private. Ya know. Because I can't have a random one of your kind just stumble upon me, and call the cops. 'S happened more then once to me... And damn, magic is tiring." He sighed. "Come on. If you're really that desperate for information, you should probably hurry up." He commented lazily. "We both have better things to do, anyways. And I'm only givin' you this opportunity because you haven't tried to kill me or ran away screaming for once." He held his hand out towards you. Hesitantly, you reach out your own hand to grab his skeletal one. Before you could do or say anything else, the world seemed to spin out from under you, black out, and then resurface as some sort of forest in a matter of seconds.

You yelped in shock, backing up slightly until you regained your sense of balance. The skeleton groaned, leaning against a nearby tree in a tired manner.

"W-What was that?!" You demanded, wide-eyedly examining your surroundings. You usually were a calm and cold person, but this... This was all so new...

"Teleportation," the skeleton muttered. "What did you think?" He questioned, amusement lacing his tone.

"...Are you okay..?" You questioned in slight concern, seeing how he was leaning against the tree looking pretty exhausted.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Teleportation is just exhausting, in all honesty." He said sleepily, smiling towards you. He seemed to find pleasure in the fact that you weren't completely coldhearted.

"Isn't that bad for your lungs- oh." You said, causing him to chuckle again. Your face heated up in embarrassment and anger. "Well, are you going to get on with the story, or what?!"

The skeleton yawned. "Eh, whatever you say, uh..." He trailed off, realizing that he had never learned your name. He shrugged it off, putting a hand to the cigarette he had between his teeth.

"It's (Y/N)." You said stiffly. He looked at you in surprise, obviously not expecting an answer. He grinned, his yellow eye-light on your own (E/C) eyes.

"'Kay, (Y/N). You can just call me G, by the way." He smirked towards you, before continuing.

"Now, it's time for a story."
