A young man with a package,  clasped in his hands, hurried through a deserted street, he could see a light dusting of white beginning to form over the towering trees that surrounded the small town and a worried expression began to cover his face. "Common" he muttered quickening his pace "common" he repeated as a wind swirled through the air and the cobble stone street in sync with the trees, snow forming over them and sbreading by the second.

The man had his little cottage in sight where his family nervously waited for his arrival, he was determined to make it back alive.

The wind became dotted with bits of snow that pranced around him, them man who was now in a flat out sprint suddenly did a perilous thing. He slipped.

The cursed winter that was forming around realised they had him in their grasp, seezing the opportunity snow sprung out from the street floor all around him until he was completely surrounded and in a blink of an eye he was gone. Forever.
