Please Don't Leave Me

part two

So I walked to class,picked my stuff and waved goodbye at my 'friends' as I showed them the envelope,they knew what had happened. As I walked out of class they followed me outside,leaving the  ongoing art class.

"Tesa I will miss you" Britanny said coming to hug me with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Me too swee, I said hugging the both of them. Emotions began to fill me up and I wondered, was I about to cry because of these two people ?had I just began loving them as my real friends?

I immediately let go of them and since my throat was painful from the tears I had held back,I couldn't speak,so i signalled them showing that I will call them. I walked away as they watched.
I took out my phone and  texted my boyfriend Stan explaining what had happened.

Calling my driver meant that my father would know I was out of school early since he would inform him,so for the first time in my life I took a cab home.

On reaching our gate,I felt my heartbeat rate increase. Some people call that fear. Yes,I was in fear,I mean,I never liked letting my father down. I paid for the cab and walked inside the compound and met Bakhita,my nanny,who was on her way out.

" you're back early,what's up,are you ill?she asked.

"I've been expelled nanny" I told her knowing that she was one person I could trust as a mother.

I explained to her what had happened and seeing that I was a bit tensed,she took me inside the house and prepared a meal for me before she left for the grocery store .I ate and went to my room.

I prayed that the day would drag itself but sadly,evening came and so did my dad.I heard the gate being opened and the car being parked.I felt my heart beat double as I had tensed to face my father.

So he came up the steps heading to his room and I opened the door my room. We met on the corridor.

"Sweetheart!" He said kissing me on the forehead.

"Hi dad," I replied.

"How was your day?" He asked.

"I...I have something to tell you." He noded.I found it hard to tell him so I just handed him the letter.

He opened it,read it and gave me a stern look,shakes his head and started to walk away.I followed him.

"Dad,I'm sorry" was all I could say.

"You're sorry ?Tessa,it says here that you attempted to burn down the school lab,is that true?" He asked.

"I didn't mean to,I just wanted to pull a stunt and it went all wrong " I said,feeling rather terrible.

My dad didn't even answer me,he just walked to his room and said nothing.At this moment I was crying,I saw that my dad was mad at me and I hated that.Nanny bakhita was around,she came and took me to my room.

"Tessa stop crying,all will be well.But you have to know what you did wasn't good and that these are the consequences you've had to face.Your dad is a good man,he'll come around.I just rolled up in my covers and she turned off the light for me.I didn't know how or when I fell asleep coz all I remember is the sun piercing through the blinds and I knew it was morning.
