Please Don't Leave Me

facing the music

So I walked out of my room and met with my father at the corridor.
"Dad I'm sorry"was all I could say.

"Tessa!Tessa!Tessa!,how many times will you do this?"he asked shaking his head.
"Dad!I can explain,you know it...."

"Oh!just shut the hell up,what is there to explain?you want to explain to me how you burnt down the lab alone?you want to explain to me how you fought in school?"he shouted at me,cutting me short.

",But dad,we could have paid for a new lab to be built?I mean last I checked,we still have money right?"I confidently uttered.

"We Tessa?we? Correction I still have money ,and I sent you to school so that you will someday learn. To make yours and if for a second you think that just because you're my daughter is let you inherit my business and assets with this your behaviour then you're dead wrong,just remember that!.Once again,you disappoint me"he said with his voice now fading and went downstairs,leaving me there to ponder on the words he'd said.

At this point I felt like the worst human being,I had really let down my father,the man whose been both my mum and dad at the same time for the longest time.
I ran into my room and filled my pillow with tears,i guess that was guilt building up in me.
That day I cried and fell asleep for most part of the day,then I went to bed again at around 5:30pm and slept till the next day.

Well,morning came and I still wasn't sure about going downstairs to join my father for breakfast.So I stayed in my room until I heard him leave for work.Nanny bakhita set my palace at the table and prepared my best dish as well,just to cheer me up I must say she was an angel sent specifically to me.

Being at home while everyone else was at school left me no choice but to waste my day at home watching TV ,surf the web and sleeping.
When evening came,my dad walked into the house greeted nanny bakhita and didn't say a word to me,instead he handed me an envelope.
I was confused like literally,I slowly opened the letter and the shcok that hit me couldn't even be compared to the scare Wendy Williams got when she fainted on her show due to over heating.
It was an admission letter,to a school.I know I was supposed to be happy that I got accepted into a school but his one was more like a punishment.
"Wait,you're sending me to Mt.Olives high dad? really?"I asked in shock.
"Tessa you should be happy that at least you got accepted into a school after all the damage you've done to your reputation,oh and before I forget,you start tomorrow"he said and started walking upstairs to his room whistling.

"Dad,that's a boarding Catholic school,I'll have to wear a uniform and worse ,it's in subgatory(a little bit of suburbs and the ghetto).What will my friends think when they hear this?I was now yelling at my dad,my reputation as a rich kid who has it all was my everything.

He turned around and looked me in the eye"you should have thought about that before ruining every precious school you went to, Tessa,thank me because while you're there, you'll definitely learn to appreciate where you come from."

"Aaargh!"i yelled as I kicked the statue of a cat that was put as a centerpiece in the living room.
I grabbed my jacket and went to inform my dear boyfriend Stanley that I'd be leaving.
Stanley used to live with his elder brother and most of the time he was left home alone since his brother had to go for work in different cities.Since he'd entrusted me with a copy of their house keys I decided to give him a surprise visit.
I slowly opened the door and tiptoed to his room,loud music had filed the house,Stanley loved listening to hard rock music.I slowly turned the knob and what I saw next just added to the shock my dad gave me.
