*Adams POV*
Three strangers stood in the room. Two guys and one girl. The girl had tears in her eyes and she was smiling. "How do you feel?" the man in the back asks. He wore a white coat and held a clip board. "A doctor?" I wondered. "What happened?" I ask.
"You don't remember what happened?" the other man asks.
"And who are you?" I snap. They just stared at me in confusion.
"You don't know who I am?" he asks."Um, no. Should I?" I question. The girl looked at the doctor then back at me. I didn't know what was going on. "Jason, can I talk to you out in the hall?" says the doctor to the other man who is named Jason. Jason nodded and and left the room with the doctor. "Weird..." I though. The girl ,startling me, knelt beside my bed. "D-do y-you reme-mber m-me?" she asks in between sobs. "No, I'm sorry." I say. She was full of sorrow. I could tell she has been through a lot and has seen things that she wish could be unseen. "Do you know who you are?" she asks. That was a strange question. "Of course I know who I am, I'm... I'm... uhhhh." I tried my hardest to think but everything was a blur. I don't remember anything, not my parents, not growing up, not even what happened yesterday. I didn't even know my own name. "I don't know, I don't know my own name!" I yell utterly frustrated with myself.
*Jason's POV*
"Adam has amnesia." says the doctor. "Wha-what? He has amnesia?" I ask confirming what he had said. "The toxins from the pill made their way to Adam's brain interfering with his memory. He still knows the basics of living and speaking but not any of his personal memories." the doctor says sternly. "Well is there a way he can get it back?" I ask pleading for an answer. "There is no cure for amnesia, the next best thing you could do for him is relive some of his biggest memories which may cause him to remember. Show him family picture or anything that will help jog his memory. I'm sorry we couldn't do more for him." says the doctor obviously not sorry and he walks away. I sigh and walk back into the room, "You have amnesia."
*Your POV*
"What? No!" you yell, "No!" Tear droplets sprinkle from your eyes. "Haven't we all gone through enough!" you scream. You couldn't let yourself believe such an obscure thing. Of course, this had to happen to you. Out of all the people in the world, one of your best friends had to forget all the memories you had together. Stomping out of the room in anger, you just want to be alone. You couldn't comprehend the thought of Adam not knowing who you were. Forgetting ever time you laughed together. Forgetting every time you cried together. Forgetting every time he loved you.
