Chapter 8 the aftermath

Luna moves away with her scythe  in hand and Sophie gets up off the floor.
Without Thinking I run over to Luna and hug her.
"Umm Sam?" Luna looks at me confused.
"Oh sorry" I back away and putting one of my hands on my head and scratched my head.
I look at Luna out of the corner of my
eye and she looked at me so I looked away and smiled.

"Sam why are you smiling?" Luna asks me "Sam what's so funny?" Luna asks me again
Just than Luna slaps the back of my head really hard and I fall flat on my face. As I turned over to get up i see a hand reach out from above.

Luna had put her hand out to help me up from the floor.
When I stand up I'm still holding her hand that she used to help me up and for some strange reason I'm drawn to her sky blue eyes.
"What is this feeling I've got, it can't be, that I'm..." I asked my self in my head.

"Sam?" Luna asked as she looked down at our hands then back at my face.

"Sam are you ok your face is bright red?" She asked me.

"!" I look at her embarrassed "nothing I'm fine" I said again looking away from her.
"Your face tells me different" Luna says "actually  I don't want to know at this moment in time but I will find out"

Just then a girl with red hair walked In and looked at Luna she was standing at the door and her jaw dropped at the sight of Luna's scythe.after a while she came to join us.

Sophie turned " well if it isn't the one who thinks she is all high and mighty" she scoured as she looked at the girl. the girl ignored Sophie and turned to Luna and whispered " where on earth did u get that scythe"
"Excuse me?" Luna said confused
"Nothing nothing I was just curious" the girl said smiling .
"Oh where are my manners I'm Ezra"the girl said .

"Why was Sam acting like that? and more importantly what does this red head want? " I thought to my self as I was looking at this girl who said her name  is Ezra .
"my name is Luna"I said a bit
un-reassured .
"I'm Sam" sam said in his Normal excitedly shy voice.
" hummmmm you look like I can get along with you" she said looking at Me and Sam.
" ahummm" Sophie pouted "and what about me miss high and mighty"
" one of these days some one is going to knock you down and you will never get up Sophie" Ezra said whilst she slowly turned around and looked Sophie Sophie's face looked like it was cowering in fear than Ezra walked past Luna " I'll have to see you around" she whispered to Luna

Later that evening me and Sam went to the canteen to get some food then headed straight to class the walls of the class where covered in some sort of red substance it was probably blood of the enemy's they had to fight.

The teachers what're nice you could say some where evil put to good but me and sam got through our classes, it started getting dark so we headed to our room. When we got there we turned in the lights to find a piece of paper laying on the desk in the corner of the room .

" a mission ?? "I say confused looking at the mission note
" already ??" Sam says exhorted
" it says we have to leave tomorrow and go to seradesa  " I say not knowing where seradisa is 
" well then we should get some sleep " Sam says starting to get changed
" DONT GET CHANGED IN FONT OF ME " I yell as I run into the bathroom and slam the door shut and lean againced it . I look in the mirror opposite the door and my face is bright red. I cover my face with my hands and sit on the floor still leaning aginced the door " what's wrong with me he's my best friend why is my face red " I said to my self " oh well better get changed " I take my hands off my face and get up and get changed.

The next day me and Sam go and ask some of the teachers where seradisa is we got told it was in the middle of the mountains so we pack our bags and head off.
