Looking through books on Wattpad, I've noticed that many writers have their nitch, their genre, and they stick to it, whether it be Romance, Teen Fiction, Fan Fiction, Mystery, Horror, etc. It seems difficult for some people to write anything that does not have any romance in it, and that is the reason I'm hosting this contest, to get people to write something out of their "zone".

So what I want you to do in this contest, is to write a short story, one-shot, or whatever you want to call it; keep it pure and simple. No romance, mystery, horror, teen fiction, etc. Nothing inappropriate. These will be great for kids to read, as well as adults who don't like reading those other genres. You may choose to write fantasy, and that's fine, just so it follows the guidelines. NO ROMANCE, HORROR, MYSTERY, FANFICTION, MURDER OR TEEN FICTION WHATSOEVER.

Here's the prompt you will be using:

There is a place somewhere called Paris.

Just stay out of those genres listed above, and your story should be fine.
