A/N: Quite a cliffhanger, wasn't it?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sorry for the wait.

Gavin opened his eyes to bright white lights, and he thought he was dead until the pain leaked into the every inch of his body. He groaned softly, and there was suddenly too much noise. Everyone was talking at once in his head; or rather, into his ears. His friends surrounded him, all talking excitedly, glad to see he was alright.
Gavin nodded to them, replying as needed, but his eyes moved to Michael, who was just smiling. He walked over and stood in front of the frail boy for a moment.
"Hey Micool."
"Hey Gav."
Gavin smiled to him before he was hugged tightly, Michael's body trembling against his own.
"I will never fucking play Minecraft again."
"Same here, Micool."
Geoff shooed his friends, saying that they should get a moment alone. They all left, leaving them to catch up on the lost hours.
Michael buried his face in his neck, pressing a gentle kiss to it before speaking softly.
"I talked to Lindsay."
"Mhm, what'd she say?" Gavin replied distractedly.
"She's a bit sad about it, but she doesn't mind if we were to get together." Michael brushed his lips against his jawline, loving that he could get this close without worry.
Gavin put his hands on Michael's shoulders, easing him back gently.
"Micool, I still have to talk to Ray."
"Will he not be okay with it?"
"I have no clue."
Gavin leaned forward and pressed his lips against the red-head's in a soft kiss.
He believed things would work out.

"Hell yes, I do."
"Well then, you may now kiss the groom."
Michael snatched Gavin around the waist. It had been a year since the incident, and 4 months since Michael asked Gavin to marry him. He pressed a firm kiss to the brit's lips, and Gavin wrapped his arms around his neck happily. Lindsay smiled from behind the camera, Ray by her side.
"They're really nice together, you know?" Ray mumbled to her. She nodded with a warm smile.
"Yeah. Almost makes me jealous."
"Nah, don't be jealous. You have a hell of a new boyfriend."
She smirked at him before rolling her eyes.
"Quit complimenting yourself. It isn't flattering."
He laughed softly, grinning at her as Michael and Gavin excitedly ran off to cut the cake.
It was strange, but everyone seems to have gotten their happy ending.
They cut the cake together, and Michael managed to smash the piece into Gavin's face. He smeared it off and splattered it onto Michael. They both were laughing hysterically, and everyone was laughing with the happy couple. Geoff asked if he could take the camera and Lindsay grudgingly gave it up. He took it, pointed it at Lindsay and Ray, and grinned.
"Look at this lovely pair."
Lindsay rolled her eyes and Ray slung an arm around her shoulders.
"Yep. I got lucky, definitely. It took all my Puerto Rican charm." Ray chuckled before pressing a kiss to Lindsay's cheek, "It's been 3 months of awesome."
Geoff laughed softly, turning to catch Gavin and Michael but they were swamped by gifts (and some gags) from their friends and family, so he handed the camera to Lindsay to catch the precious moments of the gay-fest.
He stood back and watched his friends like a proud father. It worked out. It all worked out.
They had burned Fall-Back. They were still paying off the device, but it was worth it. No one needed that kind of machine. It was too risky and dangerous.
He still had nightmares about it. And he was sure Michael, Gavin, and even Ryan did too. Gavin had woken up screaming a few times, sometimes for Michael, and sometimes it was pleades for help. Aside from that, they chose not to talk about it.
Ray and Lindsay were off chatting with Michael and Gavin happily. They both understood why their counterparts did what they did. They were in debt to each other, fully and completely, spending each day out of the infernal death trap like it was their last. They didn't mind the playful jeering from their friends, nor did they mind the strange looks or knowing smiles they earned when they walked together, hand-in-hand, in public. They were perfectly content, and now they could spend the rest of their lives with each other.
Michael grabbed a beer bottle, calling for everyone's attention.
"Hey assholes! Lemme make a toast!"
Everyone quieted down, laughing and grinning softly.
"I want to make a toast all of you guys. You all've been great friends, and like family to us." He laid a hand on Gavin's shoulder, smiling at him, dimples and all. "And I want to thank that damned game. If it wasn't for the near death experience, we wouldn't be here."
A few people laughed sheepishly, but others nodded solemnly.
"-But on a much brighter note," Gavin added, standing up next to Michael with his drink raised high, "we're alive and well! We're married for goodness sake, which I never believed would happen soon enough. So cheers, you guys!"
The guests all shouted out cheers, glasses were clinked, and some downed their whole drink.
Everything was nearly perfect.

The computer screen stirred to life, the single basement room lit and empty of life except for one lone man who sat unmoving, far from it. It spoke to the pale, emotionless man, unraveling it's mysteries before him. He stared blankly at the lighted machine as it fed him instructions, addresses, names, bank numbers, everything he needed for what the device wanted.
The thing was, it wanted them, and only them.
It would stop at nothing to capture Gavin and Michael Jones.
