Chapter 12

Toni POV: all of our family was at Tamar house having brunch. Daddy was here with his wife, so their was a little tension in the room.

Jr: mommy apple sauce

Toni: here baby

Tamar:  are you and Kenny going to have any more kids

Kenny: we're trying for a girl now

Evelyn: good, I want another grand baby

Jr gets in Kenny lap and lays his head on his chest.

Michaels wife (Janice): Toni are you excited about your wedding

Toni: yes mam

Janice: well Michael I think it's time for you to tell her

Toni: tell me what

Evelyn: yeah what

Michael: baby girl I love you, but I can not walk you down the aisle at your wedding

The family sat their confused. Toni eyes filled with tears

Evelyn: Lord help me, not slap him

Toni: why

Michael: you didn't invite my wife, so I can't, before I'm anything else in a husband first.

Toni: so your putting her before me again

Michael: baby no. I'm sorry

Janice: you should have just invited  me

Tamar: Shutup,  Toni quiet and nice but I'm not

Janice: who are you talking to like that young lady

Tamar: you old woman

Michael: Tamar that is my wife, and your mom

Tamar: pause, daddy you need to put a step in front of that mom. Because my mother is sitting over there Evelyn Braxton. Secondly you continue to choose that woman over Toni. You didn't come to her college graduation because your wife wanted you at home, you missed her 21st birthday party because your wife wasn't invited. She is your daughter.

Toni: Wait Janice I just want to know why don't you like me. I never did anything to you.

Janice: yes you did Toni, before me and your dad had any type of relationship I was great friends with all of you. I had a boyfriend and you used to come stay over at my house all the time when you were sixteen,  you slept with him.

Everybody looked at Toni, tears filled her eyes, because of what she just said.

Toni: I was a 16 year old preacher daughter I didn't know one thing about sex. Your boyfriend touched and kissed on me and I told you, and you said not to tell anyone because they wouldn't believe me.

Kenny held Toni as she cried. The sisters and Evelyn gathered around Toni and comforted her.

Michael: is this true Janice.

Janice:

Michael: Janice!

Janice: yes I'm sorry

A tear fell from his eyes

Michael: baby-

Toni: Kenny let's go

Kenny: but-

Toni: let's go

Kenny grabbed Jr and they left the ride home was silent.

Kenny POV: soon as we got home. Toni got in her pajamas and got in the bed. Me and Jr decided to make her some feel good cookies. We brought it up and got in the bed. Toni was crying. Jr laid on her chest and hugged her.

Jr: mommy don't cry *wipes her tears*

Toni: awe baby, thank you

Kenny and Jr snuggled into Toni as she cried.

Toni: thank y'all, I feel better now

Jr: *kisses her forehead* Me love you mommy

Toni: mommy loves you more baby

Jr: we made you cooes

Toni: they look delicious, and they taste good to thank you

Kenny: Jr go in your room for a little while I talk to your mommy

Jr: otay

Jr left out

Kenny: baby are you ok

Toni: yes

Kenny: why didn't you tell me sweetie

Toni: I didn't want to be judged

Kenny: baby you didn't do anything wrong no one was going to judge you, and I'm your husband you can talk to me about anything.

Toni: your right, I was so ashamed to tell anybody, I should have told you though baby your always there for me.

Kenny: what did the man do to you

Toni: he uses to always rub on me. He made me get dressed in front of him-

Toni started crying again and Kenny hugged and kissed her

Kenny: I'm so sorry my love that this happened to you

Toni: I'm just glad he didn't force himself on me

Kenny hugged and comforted her

Toni: I don't want to bring up again on

Kenny: ok sweetie

They kissed passionately, then Kenny called Jr back in and he got in the bed with them.

Toni: baby boy your getting so big. Your almost two

Jr: Me a man now

Toni and Kenny bust out laughing

Toni: your still mommy's baby

Jr: no me a man

Toni POV: I pulled him closer and kept kissing him. He kicked and screamed as we laughed.

Toni: mommy's baby  *kissing his cheek*

Jr: no *laughing* daddy help

Kenny laughed and grabbed Jr from Toni. They all laid in the bed laughing. Soon they all took a nap.

Tamar POV: I walked in to Toni and Kenny houses to check on Toni. I walked up to the bedroom and it was so cute. Jr was laying on Toni breast asleep. With his hand inside her shirt on her boob,  and Kenny had both of them in his arms. I took a pic and rushed out the door.

2 hours later

Jr woke up crying.

Toni: what's wrong baby are you wet *feeling his diaper*

Jr: monster *crying*

Toni: oh it was just a bad dream, baby lay back down on mommy

Kenny Wakes up

Kenny: what's wrong little man

Toni: he had a nightmare

Kenny: it's just a bad dream buddy, lay back down on mommy

Jr lays back down. Toni rocks him and kisses his forehead. Kenny spoons back in to Toni, and they all fall asleep.
