I was at MR chows with Jr. I invited Kenny to meet us for lunch. We're going to talk about colleges for him. He walked in and kissed me and then he sat down in his seat.
Kenny: sorry I'm late
Toni: it's fine, so what colleges are you looking at now
Jr: I've applied for UCLA, LSU, and Juilliard
Toni: ok, so what was the feedback for Juilliard
Jr: I had to send them a video of me playing guitar and piano. They like me, and so they will call me Monday and tell me if I got in or not. that's my top choice right now
Kenny: You know Juilliard is very expensive right!
Jr: yes dad I know
Kenny: Ok me and you momma not paying all that money for you to go to New York and party and joke around. You need to be strictly focused on your education, we don't need to waste money on you we have three more kids to put through college
Jr: yes sir I know
Toni: and in your free time, instead of hanging out with your boys. You need to be online looking for apartments
Jr: I will, you guys are telling me stuff that I already know
Kenny: Have you ordered any books yet
Jr: no
Kenny: have you signed up for any scholarships, because that music scholarship is not going to do much.
Jr: no
Kenny: and have you even looked for a job in New York
Jr: no
Kenny: then you don't know all of this! Jr your graduation is over, your out of high school. You can't live with us forever
Jr: but y'all do push me hard, y'all don't push Madison like that
Toni: Madison is 16 and already taking senior classes we do push her hard
Kenny: me and your mom will keep pushing you. I'm not about to be a grandpa at 43 and your not going to be in jail. Your going to make something out of yourself.
Jr: fine I have to go to the studio, Clive has me running around like crazy. Dad I should have been your intern
Toni: will see you later son
Jr: *kisses her cheek* bye momma
Toni: bye
Jr: bye dad *hugs him*
Kenny: bye be at home by midnight
Jr: I will *leaves*
Kenny: how has your day been
Toni: good
Waiter comes
Waiter: hi can I get you a refill
Toni: yes I will take another lemonade please
Kenny: me to
Toni: I'm so stressed out
Kenny: why
Toni: my babies are growing up, Aden and Ariel are now in the third grade, Madison is in tenth grade and my son is going off to college
Kenny: This is a part of life. You need to stop babying Aden, I don't won't my son to turn out being a sissy
Toni: *laughs* I do not baby him
