The entire history period was spent with Jay and Assner glaring at each other. I guess they have a past. The rest of the classes kind over just saw Jay, shivered a little, and carried on. I guess Jay had a reputation at the school. Oh well. At eleven we went home and watched films all around it was a pretty nice day. I was feeling energetic so I asked if I could go for a jog around the park. They agreed and told me to be home by 8:00 PM. I put on my clothes and take off. It was about a half mile to the park and after that I went around the track a few times before taking down a trail. After about four miles, I was back at the park and bored so I continued jogging.

Thump.

I'm suddenly on the ground. "Watch where your going you little fucker."

"Sorry about that." Holy fuck he was a god. I had tanned skin. Blonde hair. And the voice
of motherfucking Jesus. Lord. Be cool Jamie.

"It's fine now move." He barely moved an arm.

"Move. Can't you hear? Don't speak English. Do you speak dumb. Movo your butto. Spanish? No tan rápido."

"Sólo si me da su número de teléfono celular," he replies.

"Nueve, siete, tres, seis, cuatro, cero y cero."

"Thanks now can you stop being a bitch?"

"Can you stop running into people?"

"Yes."

"Then yes. Sorry, I think we got off on the wrong foot. Want to go get Starbucks."

"Sure."

He rides his skateboard while I jog. We get there and he orders a venti caramel latte and I order a low fat venti vanilla bean frappe. We sit down in a corner booth.

"Tell me about yourself," he orders.

"Like what."

"How many siblings do you have?"

"Biological or non-biological."

"Both."

"Biological one. Other than that I live with ten other guys."

"That sounds kinda shady."

"It's not like that. They're like my siblings. Annoyingly like my siblings."

"How?"

"They're freaky overprotective."

"What do they do?"

"One is my age. One is a teacher. One is a paramedic. Five are firefighters and three are SWAT officers."

"Damn. I was going to ask you out but now I'm a little afraid."

"Yes, I will. And don't worry about them. We can keep you a secret for awhile. Now, I've never seen you before but I moved here like two months ago so are you new?"

"I'm new but I've always lived in at San Diego area."

"Cool."

We talked for awhile and had fun.

"Shit."

"What?"

"Duck down," I order.

He obey and asks, "Why?"

"One of my brothers just showed up," I say looking at Justin's feet. I see him get eleven orders. Even my frappe. How sweet. He goes to the bathroom.

"Go. Go."

We get up and leave quickly trying to avoid being seen. We make it out and hide in an alley.

"Parker. What it that?" I ask referring to his tattoo.

"Um. A bird."

"No that's the official Red Falcon Gang tattoo."

"How do you know about that?"

"You know Wyatt Park?"

"Yes."

"Your apart of his gang."

"Not any more. I'm actually here to take over."

"He did terminate his leadership. I'm so proud of him."

"I was his second in command. How do you know him?"

"He's one of my brothers."

"That explains him wanting to terminate his leadership."

"Yup. Well I have to go. The Starbucks he picked up was for me too." As if on cue my phone buzzed telling me to come home.

"Do you want a ride? My apartments right here."

"Sure. You just have to drop me off a block away."

"That works. Which car should we take?"

I look in his garage and see five different cars.

"Sorry sweetheart. Not impressive. I have nine."

"You mean your family has nine."

I laugh. "My family has ninety six. I have nine."

He whistles. "Well okay."

"But, I guess the Cadillac."

We hop in and I give him directions. We arrive and I hop out.

"See ya."

Man, I think I'm in love....
