just typing out the words "author's note" make me feel all official and stuff
I don't like it
anyway, this is basically to say that I've never actually written a paranormal romance before, my writing tends to stray towards the humorous and fluffy
therefore i'm kind of semi excited yet fully nervous about writing this, and seeing all the positive response it has already, and it being featured (lowly, but still featured) on the paranormal charts, i'm doubly determined to make this okay
but i'm kind of viewing this whole thing as experimental, and even as it's being uploaded, expect some heavy editing of plot/characters/general writing
and i'd absolutely love it if anyone reading this would give me constructive criticism on what I can do to make it better, if you notice any mistakes in spelling/grammar issues, any plot holes or just parts which are plain stupid (it's good to get honest opinions, even if the truth hurts haha)
so, if you've actually read all of this, a thousand sincere thank yous, i'm sorry for waffling
but yeah, please keep in mind that this is my little experimental project really just to test myself as a writer, and I hope you enjoy it:)
i'll probably delete this as soon as I post the first chapter (which will be very soon! i'm so ridiculously excited to write this novel omg) but thanks for taking the time to listen to me ramble, and if anyone has any interesting takes on the paranormal genre, please pm me about it:)
