I glance at the clock, 7:01am. My stupid alarm just woke me up. I hate waking up, I hate mornings, I hate appointments. I throw my covers off of my body, my hand accidentally hitting the wall that my bed is against. I growl in pain and look at my hand. It's fine. Then I look at my wall, great another hole. I ignore it and stomp my way to the bathroom. I turn on my shower, more hot than cold; I like hot showers and the shade of red my skin turns.

I slam my door as I leave my apartment, I'm running late. I make my way to the elevator and wait for it to arrive at my floor. Ding. Ding. Ding. The sound of the elevator coming to my floor is so annoying, I feel like my head might explode. The elevator finally arrives, the doors open and there is two other people inside. I clench my jaw so hard my teeth grind. I walk in and notice that the only button lit up is for the ground floor. I am stuck in this elevator, with these people, until I get off. With them.

"Hello!" I hear a cheery voice say this behind me. I turn back and a woman is smiling at me, her name is Carol, we used to be friends. I give her a look and turn back around. I'd rather not talk to her anymore, she doesn't care about me.

I step outside and the sun shines on my face. Of course I forgot my sunglasses. I start walking down the block, squinting. My jaw is starting to hurt from clenching it so hard. I continue walking and start feeling the warmth of the sun. Hey this isn't so bad, it feels nice. It's so wonderful that I have this appointment today, it's good to get me out in such nice weather. I go to cross the street and a car is coming, but I've already stepped on to the street. I'll just go anyways. The car honks at me as I speed walk across the street, I just keep walking. Today is a good day, the sun is shining, the air clear... it's all so wonderful. I walk into the building and check in. The woman working at the desk, Veronica tells me to take a seat in the waiting room. Today will be good, the appointment will go well. I hear my name get called, stand up and start walking down a hall. I walk into a small cozy room, it is decorated with a variety of calm colours, blue, brown, green, a nice shade of maroon and of course black and white. I take a seat in one of the comfy maroon coloured chairs.

"So... last week we diagnosed you with borderline personality disorder. How have you been?"
