Brynn was gone for 1 week. She couldn't stand being alone with out her friends. She went to school the next week and she was filled with homework that she had to catch up on. By the next week Brynn has caught up on her homework. She was carrying around a breathing machine which made it more stressful for her.
People were asking Brynn about what happened and what the machine was for. She said she had really bad asma. Later that week Ronnie asked her to the dance and she was pumped, she couldn't get over him. She though he was the hottest boy ever.

Brynn and her friend Ella walked to bleachers in the gym. She needed to check her blood pressure before she danced her rear off. Ella was the only one who knew she actually had cancer. They were the closest of friends. They're favorite song started at the dance so they got up and danced. Then a slow song came on. Ronnie and Brynn found each other and started to dance. Ella danced with a small fifth grader, his name was Avery. Avery's sister was in Brynn and Ella's grade.

The next Monday the word got out about Brynn. Nobody would confess to Brynn who spread the word. It wasn't Ella because she was Brynns friend. Josh's dad was a doctor and he was pretty smart, he was the one who told everyone that Brynn has cancer.
